Apparently there's rumors going round on social media causes a big fuss on other Wolves fans forums that Fosun are going to buy the former GoodYear site in Wolverhampton.
Read into that what you will.

I can’t see it unless there’s is improved public transport. Also it’s best to keep stadium in city centre if we can. Clubs where it outside struggle with attendances. And I’m sure Fosun would plan in case our bubble did burst.

Makes sense Dave if there is sufficient area there for a new stadium complex.

Whispers that Fosun want to build facilities for the u23s and Womens team saying Compton not big enough.
Hope so as don't want us to move from the Mol.
Where the ground is situated is iconic to the City, can't think of any other ground that is so close to its City centre.
i'm 55 now and been going down the Mol. Over 40 years. can't imagine going to watch the Wolves anywhere else but Wv1.
Please Jeff, Laurie, & Fosun Molineux is our home, "WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED".

GodBless The Molineux😀😀🙏.

That’s interesting Dave. I was sure Compton was one of the top facilities in Europe at the time of completion. But I can understand that the top clubs have invested further each year since. For example Man City changed there dressing room to a circle rather than a rectangle so everyone could hear pep for this season. But it depends on the plans for training and room to grow good year could be a good site for training and base for all teams. In terms of stadium keep it in WV1. But we would either have to built under or into the small hill behind the south bank for parking and size of new stadium- expecting 45,000-50,000 seater.

Good afternoon and happy new year all.

Regarding the above rumour does anyone have any thoughts on stadium sponsorship or training facility sponsorship?

Don’t know anything and not mentioned above but heard this rumour when Fosun first arrived. Fosun to build new premises for Asda and to further develop the stadium and parking on present site. Makes sense for all parties.

Is there much room left on the Goodyear site?
