Saturday's game against Bristol City will be a big test of character. Hoping we win by one goal and Cardiff slip up again.

Over the last few weeks we have learnt some lessons about the limitations of 3-4-3
1) Get pressed can mean we get found out.
2) on the odd occasion a team sits deep we may have to take a draw although I think we should be training to get jota and cav running at defences as they are unstoppable.
3) Pin our wing backs back and you have a chance of getting something from us.
Maybe this raises a few limitations to our first team at the moment.
1) Do we need a quality player to support Neves (I do love Saiss as an enforcer)
2) A striker to hold the ball up? The only weakness of Leo is he can’t win and hold the ball up although link up play is 2nd to none.
3) In periods of pressure changing to 4-5-1 but then on the break naturally reverting back to 3-4-3? Or do costa, Cav and Jota have limitations on defensive abilities in own half. Before someone shoots my head off I know they press like nutters and Jota is the stand out player for me. Take away the goals and assists his work rate and fiery side is exemplary. Very much a Wolf can we convince him to commit?

I disagree Dappa, it wasn’t a moan. As I said 3 points is 3 points. But they were just a few points that I have seen over the past few weeks. I’d also say we could have got 2-3 goals more in some games such as Sheffield Wed, Blues, Ipswich and Millwall. But when we are promoted we will be against fitter and stronger teams some weeks. So we need to develop certain weaknesses and also discover new strengths. UTW.

In my opinion, we need to improve the squad. We need better quality to bring on who are as good as the starting elevan, the likes of Batth Price are not good enough for this team and are not good enough for the prem. If we can do this we can rotate the likes of Jota Bonatini and Nevas etc.

Money isn’t everything as proven by many a team over the years.
I was just saying that those were points I’d picked up on from watching. And what were other fans opinions. I was never negative just saying those points were good for thought as we develop. We should be constantly developing as we have many years to make up for. Man City at the minute is perfection on the eye but I think they will be beaten over a season IMO. Still Pep will spend 30 odd million plus on a defender to try and stop that. I’m pretty sure Nuno is along those lines as well.
