Been really impressed with our pre-season performances. But today vs Japlonec has really highlighted the need for at least 1 quality striker. But cover is needed up there. At times the play in our pre-season games has been nothing short of sensational. The defence seems very comfortable.
The midfield seems very stable and able to dictate play. But like I stated, a top striker and we should be in a very pleasing position come the end of the season. Come on you wolves, let's get a striker and in the Premier League for the 18/ 19 season!

Couldn't agree more we going to need at least 2 strikers top quality as been said many times on here 20 goal striker needed and an attacking midfielder that's going to weigh in with a few as well let's hope it gets sorted soon aboubakar seems to have gone cold same with Afobe maybe they've already got somebody lined up come back from Austria and sort it out.

Watched the game tonight and thought seemed little flat at times but still tried play at high tempo -agree we def need a striker who got that killer instinct to keep hounding defenders and keepers -most the team played well feel sorry for bright got the talent but just not found killer finish yet but hopefully will come or expect a loan in Jan be on cards for him one have been impressed with is Sylvain he really want push up the pitch all the time -all in all we could had 0-0 but for well taken free kick which imo think ruddy prob would got to but hey ho been good tour Austria and likeing the new style we adopted just need top striker (s) and we will be a team others won't like playing against.

Not seeing us get behind teams or playing through the opposition at any time. keeping he ball and passing it square and backwards when 50 yards from goal isn't going to frighten anyone. Need to be another 20 yards further up the pitch and play a passing game where it has greater chance of causing problems. 90 minutes today and not one corner, that shows we never really threatened their defence, down the flanks or through the middle.

Today they missed Miranda and price. Saiss looked light weight like last season. 🙄 Batth is out of his depth. The ball was passed short to a team mate that could do something a bit more daring-mainly coady. The goal was avoidable one because boly went in clumsy (can't afford to do that against smarter teams in league) and Burgoyne knows you won't get away with that. I thought neves played well and you could see what he was trying to do as dicko was played in one poor touch and another saved or he was played off side by the opposition. It was also good to see neves run into space I'm not sure of the last midfielder to do that at the wolves. Also there seemed an understanding between cav and dicko. Douglas and boly got caught out a couple of times in the 2nd half. That was something the opposition had highlighted at half time. Doherty had chances to take more of a chance in the first half he could of had a go. But the shape looks impressive. UTW.
