Joleon Lescott may be brought in as defensive cover, should his contract at AEK Athens contract be terminated. His agent has already contacted the club seeking clarity if the former defender would be welcomed back.

I'd love to see Lescott back. He knows the club and has the experience. He only left the club because he was forced to. Can't see it happening though.

Bang on jimmyjones. They are very much the past. We need the present and the future. Present quality tried and tested and quality promising youngsters for the future. The past have had their day, that's why they are where they are. 😉.

I agree with Jas M with regards who should go with the exception of costa who is a talented player. If we could hang on to him we should. Get sako back and add Rhodes if possible. Quality! Thelwell just seems like an empty suit and should go. PL probably needs more of his own people around him working with the team! Eddie Howe is a quality young manager? But is surrounded by 5 assistants who all know how he thinks and what he wants from his team from style of play to skills and what he wants from them. Maybe that should be looked at as well. A complete overhaul. This season has gone realistically. So let's start build from the bottom up and move on. 😉.
