Morning All

Not been on for a quite a few months. Hope everyone is well. I still follow the site keenly. I just wanted to pass on a snippet that I picked up yesterday. I must stress this is only a very loose rumour that I heard, I don't have any concrete knowledge or any insider info.
Heard that Zenga is very close to the bullet. Fosun want promotion this season, Zenga is fully aware of the situation and was told on taking the job that if Wolves were not in the Play Off places by Christmas then changes would be made before the next transfer window. This is one of the reasons that Zenga is still living in a hotel and nothing more permanent. Coupled with this yesterday I heard that his replacement is ALREADY lined up and will be another foreign manager. I have no names, but I was also lead to believe that Andrea Butti is becoming a more and more powerful figure at the club. And that Butti's relationship with Zenga can be a little strained at times as Butti wants more and more influence with First team matters.
Anyway. Don't shoot the messenger, just what I have heard and it is nothing concrete as I said before.
Best of luck to the lads tonight. It will be a hell of lot tougher than Saturday. A draw tonight is a good result. But i'm not sure it will be enough Walters job.

It tallies with what the Realist said the other week, and I think the new man will def be Portugese. But if Walt can get a run of wins then he will be a permanent fixture here. But Big Jeff and the Chinese will not be patient that's for sure. Anyway I'm off to Brighton at 12 so hopefully see the lads win! 👍 Brighton 1 Mighty Wolves 2👍.

I hope Zenga can get us up as I really like him however I think Marco Silva is the guy they wanted and wouldn't surprise me if he's waiting in the wings as we speak.

I said on day 1 I thought we'd get 4 wins, 4 draws and 4 defeats from the opening 12 as that's inconsistency for you however if we can start playing like we did the second half the other day we'll be in for a good seaso and hopefully Zenga can bring that.

Removal WZ would be a big mistake. what's the point in breaking in another manager who is not familiar with this league. Its the players that are the problem - let's face it most of the imports were in the Benfica B team, as for the rest of the imports had we heard of any of them before - I think not. Ok Stearman - and why isn't he playing. Not good enough I hear you say - so get someone who is. As far as I understand it WZ had little/ nothing to do with the transfers. I say give the guy a chance and also be realistic on expectations. Plus get 2-3 better players in for January.

Gonna do a Benitez for ya.
FACT Walters is away from his family
FACT Walter took the job knowing his fate was already planned
FACT Walter took the job to build his reputation
FACT Walter has been blown away by the support he has received
FACT Walter is desperate to fight for his job
FACT Jeff Shi has his man in place.
All this means that at some point Walters race will be run.
This could be tomorrow next week next month Xmas or the end of the season.
If he thought he was here for the long term his wife and family would be beside him.
No smoke without fire.
But hope Walter can give the hierarchy something to think about.

Does anybody know what Andrea Butti's responsibilities are? He's been on the bench a lot more recently. Zenga prepares the team and Thelwell oversees the football department. Is Butti a middleman?

He must go asap! did kj ever start a season this badly? how can we employ someone with a cv such as wz's? watched him on last weeks football focus; his forecast is that if we don't get promotion this season it could be next or the season after! I still cannot believe or begin to understand that we have a manager who has already managed 16 clubs - without any real success. please, please put him and us out of our misery.

After Villa match thought we would go on run realy happy with our performance, and then we go and turn that rubbish out at Brighton, Tuesday ground hog day all over again.
Should of started with Bodvarson and Dicho up front definitely not played prince on left did not play well at Villa out of position, and Iorfa having a bad spell needs a rest .
Going back to Bod, & Dicho. Could of rested both later or one of them, to play Dicho or Mason up top on there own is a waste of time they both need someone who can hold ball up for them and to create some space for them, the pair of them are not big enough in the air to do any damage up front if they are played on there own they need help.
I think Walter chose the wrong side again and the midfield wanted freshening up after the hard work they put in Saturday, that's my opinion and this consistency we cannot find is costing us greatly and is showing that we are just a middle of the table team with these results, which I am afraid will not be good enough for new owners, need some positive results from our next few games not excuses.
