Here's a question for you all.
Does anyone know what happened to the money that Fat Boy and Bob the builder had put aside for ground development?
To quote the pie eater - there is £30 million 'ring fenced', for the next stages of Molineux Stadium developments.

I think don't expect too much, too soon! We have a lot of new players and to expect them to all gel from the off is a very long shot. Probably a couple of months down the road before we really see that happening. WIZ has got a lot on his hands that's for sure. If we can nick a few wins in the meantime it will be a real bonus. This break has come at the right time for us that's for sure! 😉.

Difference is here that the club was sold. The price may have been reduced to reflect the stadium needs more work. If you plan to build an extension on your house and sell it you don't then give the new owners money to build it. Stop thinking the club is a country. It isnt. It was owned.
Stop moaning and focus on the future. What does it matter? Do we need it or the money right now? No. Just wanna moan moan moan.

Pixie some people just like to pick a fight. Morgan has sold us to Fosun we could have been sold to the Tesco owners with no investment, keep the same team and manager so let's be happy for a change. The good times are here Fosun made £500 mil profit half yearly that's massive compared to what others have. Success at Wolves is also part of their business so it will happen. The next few years are to be remembered.

I would have thought that following the PR debacle that is the Money Shop deal, that a better gesture that SM could have made on his departure was to announce the full funding of the SJH statue.
It would have been a magnanimous gesture and one that would have sat well with the supporters, after all, both SM and JM always spoke highly of SJH and, for SM, it would have represented a very small departing gift.
Does anyone know where the statue is in terms of funding? I Understood that the club had promised to make up any funding shortfall after the initial public donation round. It's just that it always sat a little uncomfortably that a club, and man with SM'S resources, couldn't have seen fit to honour SJH from their own pockets.
I hope that Fosun will scrap the Money shop deal at the first opportunity, and think that they will be keen to use the marketing opportunity to either promote their own name, one of their associated brands or even bring in a recognised global blue-chip sponsor to generate additional revenues. It would be nice to see a carefully choosen big name on our shirts like the Goodyear days rather than a brand like Money Shop.

Good comments Darbo, we could of been sold to anybody but fair play to Morgan although he went as far as he could with investment in our club, it looks as though he as left us in safe hands which is a credit to him and how it was sold, so let's all move on know and let's think positive and enjoy the ride, after all the moans and groans of how our club was run me included who moaned, we might all end up thanking him for what he as done which seams that way at the moment.

Thanks Bigwolf from the 3 Midlands team taken over we are the only transparent ones I didn't realise the Tescos doesn't get approved until Oct hence the lack of activity so I'm told. We are owned by a proper company with plans for future growth in mind so please let's stop the moaning it really could have been a lot worse.

Paul Tamworth, The point I was making; what happened to all the Premier league money and transfer money from selling players? It's not rocket science, I know the new owners are rich. The owners are NOT the club. Imagine if both owner AND club had wealth.

Low wolf, not trying to cause an argument but why would you think it's your business to know what happened to the premier league money? Did SM not own 100% of wolves?
If so then the money is his business, not ours. Remember when we go up into the premier, all players get a pay rise, more agents fees etc, bonuses etc but again, not sure it's our business to be told where the money has gone. Do you think Sir Jack made a loss on Wolves? No chance.

Absolutely no need to worry. Fosun are not mugs. Far from it. Morgan is the mug here, he should have kept us in the PL and be selling out to the Chinese for at least £100mil on top of what he got.
But, to answer your question about this money and that money, there is a simple answer. Company Law. There was no legal way Morgam and/ or Moxey could take money out of the club except by salary, bonus, dividend etc. All these are fully taxable.
All surplus funds remained in the club's books and bank accounts. If it was there originally, and unless it has been spent on proper outgoings, it will still be there now. If you think funds were spirited out of the club by M&M except by way of lawful remuneration, that would be THEFT, and they haven't done that.
Even though Morgan owned 100% of the shares in Wolves, the company itself is a separate legal "person" in law, just as you and I are, and cannot be looted by someone who owns all the shares.
