If the transfer isn't happening now it's only got to be down to the birth of his child
Whether or not he's still a Benfica player or already signed for us (who knows? ) surely with a couple of weeks left until the end of this transfer window Talisca's employer would more than likely give him a week at least to get to know his child (paternity)
My theory is of course wishful thinking but A Bola saying now that it's still to do with his visa and we will know the outcome at the end of August is total crap.

Prince was born in France so has a French passport. Just chose to play for Congo through family.

I think he's French born and has enough Congo International caps to either not need to qualify, or to automatic qualify for a visa / work permit.

@scott I'm not entirely sure but I think it has to do with international appearances for your country which is based in a points system. Not sure if this is true but I'm sure ED can put us straight.

Whatever you say, it doesn't take anywhere near that long to get a work permit. You watch Prince Onion walk straight into the first team within a week. The Talisca thing is just all excuses.
