4 or 5 deals in place for players to be confirmed as soon as take over is complete, mix of home based and foreign, don't know any names apologies.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jul 2016 15:12:57
New there would be. Stability first.

10 Jul 2016 16:02:15
So in the future we are going to sign, some players, home based and from abroad? Something tells me you might be right there hembico! I've heard this year or next, we will break our transfer record. You heard it here first!

10 Jul 2016 16:07:38
Bring back sako.

That should be the first deal.

10 Jul 2016 16:10:17
Defo sako.

10 Jul 2016 16:13:26
How do you know this but do not know the players?

10 Jul 2016 16:44:06
There were 4 Spanish/ Portuguese mentioned around 10 days ago as possible signings on here and Spanish papers so it isn't particularly new news. I cannot remember the names but one was a left back, 2 midfielders and a striker who was on loan at Marseilles. If you look through this logically there has been lots of things going on behind the facade of the discussions. Two leading football agents involved for starters so take a look at who they have on their books and chances are one or two may head our way over the next 12 months.

10 Jul 2016 16:45:29
Cavaleiro, Helder Costa, Pelé, Duffy and Powell I guess.

10 Jul 2016 16:54:22
lol, wouldn't it be awesome if we got Sako and Afobe back :-) Afobe back and Moxey gone :-P

Looking across this site though, some convincing rumours they have some Portuguese or Spanish forwards lined up. Whatever though, I hope Mason still has a place, was really pleased when we got him.

Maybe it will be a team of super talented Spanish and Portuguese, built round Dave Edwards?

10 Jul 2016 17:09:07
All I hear is Sako! I remember Van Le Parra getting wrongly sent off at home to Bournemouth when we were one up. It was like having 9 rather than 10 players on the pitch in the last half hour with that lazy so and so offering no protection to the full back. And don't forget we missed out on the play offs on goal difference. Palace can keep him!

10 Jul 2016 17:09:43
This is the easiest rumour to predict. Ofcourse we are going to sign 4 or 5 players, if we don't we are in deep sh*t!

10 Jul 2016 17:21:26
And he showed zero loyalty in walking away from the club when out of contract. He'd do the same again. Let's move forward not back!

10 Jul 2016 17:24:16
Built round Dave Edwards LOL.

Built round Dave Edwards - sides are splitting!

10 Jul 2016 17:30:35
Ofcourse we will sighn players, when takeover goes through we will sighn some class players in my opinion forget about Sako, Afobe they are the past its a different ball game now when Robin Lei takes over he will want the best to get out this Division first and formost, he as not come to Wolves to stop in this division he will want the premier and I think he will spend what it takes to get there that's my opinion.

10 Jul 2016 17:38:01
I'd be fine with sako coming back, he gave his all for us, finished his contract, then had to move on. Afobe? No chance!

10 Jul 2016 17:49:45
Who's this pelè?

10 Jul 2016 18:10:23
Forget Sako, I don't see him as a long term option who could well play a key role in transforming us into a top 10 prem club. For me young and talented players Patrick Bamford who could well be with the club for 6-7 years are what we should be looking at.

10 Jul 2016 18:11:46
Vítor Hugo Gomes Passos, holding midfielder.

10 Jul 2016 18:13:09
I was also told we could be after 18 year old Brazilian wonder kid, Gabriel Jesus.

10 Jul 2016 18:43:55
I can't wait (hopefully) for us to be discussing players that could have real potential and be international class footballers as opposed to Dave who used to play for the dog and duck!

10 Jul 2016 18:54:13
Duffy?

10 Jul 2016 19:08:32
If it goes through next week, I think enough will be spent to get us in a position to be competitive the coming season, whether that leads to promotion or not who knows.
The real money will be thrown at the squad when we get back to the prem' as someone else pointed out' this guy isn't buying the club 'to languish in the championship, he wants success.

10 Jul 2016 19:22:00
You would be stupid to overlook Sako, if he became available. He's absolute class player and match winner. I really hope the new manager does his homework on him and brings him back now wages are no longer a stumbling block. He would be here now if it were not for the tight arsed skinflints in charge right now.

10 Jul 2016 19:37:58
Gabriel Jesus is very talented but wishful thinking. He's off to Barcelona by all accounts.

10 Jul 2016 19:35:27
Just remember the skinflints have put us in position to be courted by a prospective billionaire owner. If we supported a badly run club that chucked bad money after good we might not have the dreams that today we all share. Let's move forward.

10 Jul 2016 20:42:38
I would make an exception for sako, tho.

10 Jul 2016 21:27:01
With reference to the above players discussed. The rumour is a certain player is changing his name to Diego Eduardo.

10 Jul 2016 21:37:14
Carvelho going to new club in England for 12 million according to reports, is this us?

10 Jul 2016 21:38:01
Dave Edwards is changing his name? It's all happening at Molineux, great changes afoot this week and what a time to be a Wolves fan!

11 Jul 2016 08:27:38
Wavidsmith I'm intrigued as to why you think with moxey and Morgan gone we'd be able to flaunt ridiculous wages without having to face repercussions of the FFP? Personally I wouldn't have sako back as I for one don't think he'd work looking into lopetgui's style. he hasn't got the work rate to press for possession back. Also I'd agree with never ending story for all the turmoil moxey and Morgan have caused they've put us in a very attractive position for new owners. least they could do one thing right.

11 Jul 2016 09:20:14
Because Sako is from the French league, European and a current international. He's an exciting winger who holds on to the ball better than anyone and scores goals, isn't that exactly what Lopotegui is trying to bring in right now? He would fit in perfectly, actually. Can't understand your argument at all, mate tbh.

11 Jul 2016 09:50:41
Firstly what relevance is it that his played in the French league? His actually African not European. His exciting on his day and can hold onto the ball on his day. His also far from exciting and can't hold onto the ball rather needlessly loses it just as often. Also my point was that his work rate for playing a high pressing team game isn't there. Which is what lopotegui is trying to bring in (if he even comes in as nothing is in stone yet) also emphasis on team which sako is very much not a team sort of player. Your still yet to answer me on the ffp sanctions which was my original point mate?

11 Jul 2016 10:22:41
It would hardly break FFP by bringing Sako back - his wages would no way be a problem going by what other clubs such as Derby or Newcastle are paying their players this season. Every fan at the Wolves would like to see his return but you - again, you make no sense on either count.

11 Jul 2016 10:45:42
Re NEStory and Sbrek, I don't think it's anything Morgan or Moxey have done that has caused Robin Li to want to buy us, rather I think it's in spite of them. Wolves have an awesome identity, heritage, and huge potential, we are a seed to being another Man U and are fairly unique in that. And there really isn't a better English football club out there for a World leading IT entrepreneur like Robin Li to buy, we are a huge opportunity.

I think Morgan and Moxey failed to optimise what we are because they had too big ego's, too small imaginations and got in the way of what Wolves is naturally.

I'll never get past that they wanted to brand Wolves as Moneyshop, it was too urban and down market, they clearly didn't know what they were doing and imo the only thing we really have to be grateful for is that they moved on now rather than later.

I'll give Morgan all the credit for that, I still believe he had best intentions but just not the right ideas, he realised that, moved us on and good for him. But Moxey no way, he was only ever in it for himself and Moneyshop proved he was properly dangerous in not having a clue while being so conceited thinking he knew it all.

11 Jul 2016 10:45:51
He is a decent (but often lazy) player but let's build a squad with players that will grace the Premier League and not look for short-term fixes. I agree with Sbrek that Sako's work ethic is unlikely to be consistent with everything I've heard about Lopetegui's pressing style of play. Also when the new regime comes in we have to do what Wolves fans are famously bad at. be patient!

11 Jul 2016 10:54:07
I think you fail to understand the way the finances in football and what contributes towards the ffp works. Newcastle for one have the benefit of the parachute payments and exploit the loophole of sponsorship with mike Ashley owning both sports direct who pump sponsorship money into the club as well as owning the actual club. I think the wages required to bring sako back would not justify his return. Sorry, personally I was a huge fan when he was here and on his game, but I'm not one blinded by his moments of brilliance totally out weighing the times he cost us by not being bothered to put the work in for his team. I think you'll find I'm not the only one who doesn't want him back unless your willing to speak on behalf of every other wolves fan? As personally I'd rather we looked forward to the new then circulating old names around the rumour mill. Each entitled to their own opinion but purely stating I make no sense rather then addressing anything I've said with blissful ignorance kind of makes me inclined to pursue my actual point.

11 Jul 2016 11:30:51
It's tough with Sako though, because he actually really liked us, he had sparkly boots for his 100th game.

11 Jul 2016 12:19:56
Sako's heart is in Wolverhampton and, yes, he also wore some very nice boots, hehe. I can't imagine the new manager wanting to go back to old players, tho, and will bring in a load of new continental players from the Spanish/ Portuguese/ French leagues.

11 Jul 2016 15:39:06
Ok this is not rumour related but Lincs-Wolf did you seriously say Sako showed no loyalty? Yeah no he showed no loyalty playing for us in league 1. Terrible behaviour totally no respect for the club. You must be deluded mate he clearly loved the club he cried when he left. As much as I appreciate what he did for the club we can't take him back we need new faces move forward more.

11 Jul 2016 16:57:12
Nope it was me who questioned the guy's loyalty! I didn't criticise his behaviour or his talent but he didn't work hard enough and he was a member of the team that were relegated from the championship 3 years ago. Just compare Sako with Steve Bull. Bully was loyal through and through and could have joined a few 2nd rate Premier clubs. He stayed with us and wanted to play with us and that IS genuine loyalty. Let Sako stay and fight for his place at Palace, that's his bed, let him sleep on it. Let us look to the future and find some new stars to wear the badge.

11 Jul 2016 19:12:31
Diego Eduardo that's funny OGW we also have Joao Messi, Jaime Enrique and even Jorge Sevilla to worry the opposition.
