I'm new to wolves rumours, so hello to you all, I know for a fact that on the last bank holiday that the wolves security where ask to come in and show potential new owners for a second viewing around the mol and training ground, have no idea who they are or where they are from, but this is true, thanx.

Hello Jakaban you're very welcome. There's been a lot of names bandied about lately in relation to the ownership. Seems as if the Chaucer group is the most likely. The other rumours, including a Mr. Ding Lei (or is it Dingle?! ) and musician Glenn Hughes (Wolves supporter) are all a bit fanciful. Problem is, investors are afraid of purchasing clubs in the midlands. Villa, West Brom, Birmingham and ourselves have all been up for sale in the past 2 years - a pretty sorry reflection of midlands football. That's before you consider the nonsense going on at Forest or Coventry!

Wolfie, Villa have been sold. Today the new owner was approved as a 'fit and proper person', so the sale can be finalised. B'ham are well advanced I think. West Brom? No real upside there, they are in the PL already, whereas good upside at Villa, B'ham and, hopefully, Wolves.

Another thing in our favour is the marketing (global) and particularly USA of WOLVES . Perhaps better than a place name like brum. Ulf, over to you. welcome jakaban by the way.

@ULF how do you feel about Paycare? Surely that's to help our brand image?

Why would security show potential buyers around?

15 Jun 2016 06:10:50
Security only opened up, was told moxey and other board members showed the around.

"Wolves" is a potentially great international brand name for a football club.

I can second this. I went past Molineux yesterday, and there were some very suited up men exiting the Billy Wright. Take it with a pinch of salt, but fingers crossed.

there has been a lot of business people around Molineux lately however that could be for other meetings or events.

15 Jun 2016 17:39:53
jakaban do you know anymore?

15 Jun 2016 22:26:07
It's nonsense - all vague info at best.

I first thought this was all bull.

However! Done some digging. I am friends with the manager of the mega store ( great for getting player worn shirts after games as they have to go back to store to have sponsors re printed) , anyway he obviously knows the security staff. Got him to find out!

The ground is always opened up everyday! (Let down! Boooo)

However! They did mention they had to be more security staff in as moxey and a business associate were visiting! Alas though. He didn't see either or them.
