any news on k mac been away on holiday.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 May 2016 10:57:15
He's away on holiday himself but was spoken to after the last game and told he was part of the squad and they wanted him fit and raring to go in pre season. They said they do not want him to leave and see him back in the team with the style of play planned for next year.
Understandably, he is dubious about this but was told he was wanted.

Good news Tommo.
Why the about-turn by Kenny I wonder. First, K mac is banished. Then he's welcomed back like the Prodigal Son. Now we're planning a different style of play next season. I can't keep up with it. Maybe Kenny is making it up as he goes along? Next we will be using substitutes in a game instead of waiting till the 85th minute to bring on Mason when we're losing?

Any news on the Fans Parliament? The CEO of Money Shop was the main agenda item and strangely nothing has been released by anyone.

Very odd indeed.

In the past the meeting was streamed live via the wolves wall on the Official Wolves site. Yesterday, nothing.

Hi guys there is a post on a website run by a guy on fans parliament. Not sure how the editor feels about me posting the URL on here?

{Ed001's Note - just remember to remove the http:// bit so it doesn't get swallowed by the spam filter mate.}

Cheers Gaffer

wolvesblog.com

He does a decent blog and wrote a really good piece on the last parliament when they had that idiot telling us we should stop expecting success!

Thanks for the link, interesting article and appreciate he put the time in to share his views.

But I'm inclined to think it's not a Fan Parliament at all, there's no opportunity to influence club decisions or strategy, it's just a forum for nice ideas, some of which are implemented. But it's just dressing on the side, a PR stunt to give the false impression fans are involved when in truth they're not.

And comparing to other clubs - I don't know what format Bolton FC have for liasing with their fans, but their pay-day lender was announced as a proposal, then fan feedback (& a 4k petition) got the proposal binned. We on the other hand had Moneyshop announced as a legally binding agreement for the next 3yrs, just dumped on us. It's like Moxey is a feudal Lord and we are his serfs / peasants / working class underlings who just have to accept what he says. It's utterly backwards, abusive, it's in conflict with WWFC's heritage (like SJH did genuinely care and listen) , it's not on.

Imo Moxey is just an incompetent tyrant, and the Fan Parliament is just PR camo in his attempt to pretend he's not. Moneyshop and how it was imposed defines everything about him and Wolves now, and it's all bad.

Just had a gander at that link and scrolled down to the open letter to Jez Moxey.
Made me proud to be a Wolves fan, and if Moxey had read it and followed through with the suggestions it would 100% reverse what many fans are currently thinking about him and the club.

Ulf,
The Fans Parliament is a great wheeze for Moxey. He can ignore or talk his way out of difficult questions. Easy and helpful questions he can lap up.

24 May 2016 14:31:30
Give him his due, Moxey is quite an operator. I wonder if he learnt it all from some book you can buy off Amazon, like PC Coding for Dummies, only in this case, "Tyranny for Dummies"?

Step 1, burn down the Reichstag and replace it with your own dictator empowered administration with permanent emergency powers / set up a bogus Fan Parliament with a free buffet.

24 May 2016 15:27:22
Ulf you hit the nail on the head he believes he is a feudal lord ( I actually said to someone he reminds me of Adolf Hitler without the concentration camps)

Moxey is what the Mafia might call a wise-guy. He knows where the bodies are buried. His position is safe. Great wages and pension package as CEO. Then, keep it in the family (the Mafia would love this) , Mrs Moxey has the food concession! Then I hear Moxey buys expensive houses and rents them out to Wolves players. Neat. Wolves is a nice little earner all round. Can anyone see Moxey leaving? Thought not.

That Mafia comparison (and Jimmy Hoffa, he knew too much too) is the best argument I’ve seen yet for a complete rebuild of Molineux. I’d even support a Moxey statue if I thought he might be under it.

And yes, I saw it mentioned somewhere that Moxey rents houses to players. Surely that should be a revenue and asset opportunity the club rather than an employee personally is exploiting?

It would pay for an employee’s time to administer for the club and the mortgages on the houses paid for by rent would over time buy them for the club as debt free assets, increasing core club value and to be a better profit stream for the club in the future. And politically, even mitigating to a tiny extent big player wages that we struggle to afford, as we’d be getting a tiny bit of some of those players wages back in rent.

Wolves is clearly just a trough for its Directors, they do the talk not the walk, they’re actions prove they’re about themselves, not Wolves.

24 May 2016 18:33:08
Actually that would make a brilliant question at the next Fan Parliament. I shall stick it on E&S too, in case Timmy is short of a good question during off-season and while he avoids asking Moxey difficult Moneyshop questions :-)

How can you, as CEO, justify the situation where you own and rent houses to players for your own personal enrichment, instead of treating it as an asset and wealth creating opportunity for the club? Surely as CEO, you should have seen this was an opportunity for WWFC rather than for yourself, had the club buy houses on mortgage, that would have given enough profit income every month to pay for an employee to administer (thereby helping create employment) , and over the term of the mortgages, would have bought those houses as assets for Wolves to go on and make more money from, or to sell for a windfall to invest in players and the cycle repeating?

25 May 2016 15:13:13
My mate who knows a few things tells me Moxey currently has 8 houses being used by Wolves players, some are million pound ones so he's not short of cash.
