Even though Hughes has distanced himself from the rumour months ago. Hughes is a musician not a business man, why would he be at the meeting? BLAH to the whole lot.

I hope we aren't bought by Americans. I can't think of any club with American owners that has been successful or alienated supporters. Maybe there are some good examples, but I can't think of any.

The American consortium rumour is fairly credible. The Ellis Short/ John Grayken money connection could be behind it. Money-wise it's chicken feed to them but their time is more valuable than money. Who would want the aggro of moaning Wolves fans? Glenn Hughes could be in it to add a bit of show-biz glamour and take the heat off the money men. Who knows?

Glenn Hughes and Robbie Keane are the front men, the money is coming from another source and Hughes didn't distance himself from the rumours as they weren't rumours he stated himself he was in talks with Keane to set up a consortium and also said 6 weeks ago he had signed a confidentiality agreement.

Glenn Hughes is in Cannock with his mum sorting out funeral arrangements for his recently departed father so don't think wolves be in his thoughts at moment.
