I still think we have a good squad for championship level, only problem is the manager isn't selecting the right players or the right system. Since I've been watching football and understanding it properly our best system was 442 with pacy skillful wingers, 1 target man and a poacher with a strong and poewful back 4. Now I think we can achieve that with the squad we have. My team for next season would be
Ikeme
Iorfa Batth Hause Doherty
Byrne Mcd Price JET (if signed) Zyro if not
Siggy Dicko
Bench
GK
EEL
Evans
Henry
Mason
Ect.
Personally I think that team would get play offs next season, Hause and Iorfa should be a lot better because they hav another year experience, only doubt is Doherty if he can keep up the level he is currently playing out of position and if Ikeme can get back to his best.

Yes Stu that squad is good enough for play offs with the right boss. I was never a great fan of MacCarthy but JACKETT couldn't lace his boots in this league! FACT! And he's provin it again this season.

JET is on loan at MK Dons. So was Afobe but it didn't stop us signing him from Arsenal. Presumably QPR could recall JET and lend him to us?

Forgot about Graham if I'm honest! Wouldn't mind rotating Graham and JET. Think we have a lot of dead wood that needs getting rid of before next season too. The likes of Saville Rowe Boukari VLP Edwards (regrettably) . Not a massive fan of Williamson due to his age but him at Batth would probably be the best partnership I think a squad of:

Iorfa Batth Williamson Doherty EEL Hause
Byrne Wallace Henry Price Evans McD Graham JET Coady
Dicko Mason Zyro Siggy
I think Dicko will make a massive difference next season as he will score between 15-20+ goals if fit.
