Got a few interesting points people might wanna hear from the Q&A fans parliament with jez moxey and Kenny jackett

1. Jez said do not believe the quoted fee which are reported wolves have paid for players jez said he has seen the reported fee for jed Wallace and said they were ridiculously low and the quoted fee was 250k I'm guessing wolves paid around 1m for him, also with afobe one person said well we paid 2m for afobe jez said were u know that he said its Been reported you don't know how much we actually paid so I'm guessing wolves probably paid around something 3-3.5m for afobe and probably more on other players as well.

2.Kenny came out last week saying wolves have made big bids for players which jez confirmed by saying we made big bids to other teams for players none of this info was realised due to a agreement between the two clubs wolves are willing to spend the money

3. Loan striker Kj comfirmed that wolves are looking for striker and if it means bringing in someone like Alfie who's experienced we will (hint hint Campbell is 28) we also made enquires to Man Utd over James Wilson but he is not available if was to come available wolves would look to bring him like half of the championship

4. Sammy ameobi on Kj said jez wanted to bring him to club I didn't (they all started laughing jez and Kenny) it was basically miss quoted jez backed Kenny in bringing him to club Kenny declined and didn't want him went for other targets

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounds more like a love in between Jackett and Moxey! Jackett is a puppet to the 2 M's as he realises he won't get a bigger job than Wolves!!

16 Sep 2015 09:53:52
I can accept that we have tried to sign players and missed out. I can accept that we don't want to pay silly money. I don't really care that an honest committed but average defender has been sold. But I am watching the situation with Ennis like a hawk. If we are serious about building through kids he has to stay. Two years time a strike force of Enobakhare and Ennis with Ronan with twenty five million in the bank for Afobe is the plan. Ennis has to stay.

16 Sep 2015 10:29:20
Told u before were a breeding ground for bigger clubs! We're the Crewe Alexandra of the Championship!!

16 Sep 2015 10:34:27
Wake up and smell the coffee,its like I said before if we don't add some players to this squad and go for promotion do you honestly think we will keep the likes of Afobe,Iorfa,Hause and now its Ennis I don't think so,Moxey is a good talker I have no doubt in that,but were is the replacement for Sako still waiting and with the value of the young players mentioned we could sign on the strength of that because like I said before they will leave anyway if we don't show no ambition its a fact of life its not as though we have no money.
Going back to the Bolton match which we gave away 2 silly goals I see they were back to normal last night and ddidn't score at home against an average side,hope it was one of those days Saturday were Bolton had some luck against us or we are in trouble at back and it will Need sorting

16 Sep 2015 10:34:51
Your right victory. IF we sell Ennis this ŵill leave a massive question mark over our club.

Our phelosiphy is to bring the kids through so if we sell then where does that leave us?

We will only bring average kids through as the top teams will poach our best?

If this is the way we want to go then wd have to turn down all offers for Ennis,Hause,Ifora,Afobe.

16 Sep 2015 11:19:46
Agree Dot Cotton but we won't keep them with the 2 M's runnin the club!

16 Sep 2015 15:25:58
We will keep them with them in charge we just won't add much well we will but u know

16 Sep 2015 17:01:52
if the young uns we are bringing through are being eyed up by the like of united and city then its proof that the academy is finally working,but as has been mentioned if we don't fight to keep these players and blood them then we will end up floundering around in this division for ever,im just hoping that morgan moxey and jackett have a grip on this situation and have the foresight to keep the best as much as possible and not go for the fast easy buck.
oh and please. get an expierienced center back in to steady the young heads at the back

16 Sep 2015 18:42:01
Not long ago we had a guy in the academy who a lot of clubs were sniffing around and was touted as the the first 100 millon player but we managed to keep him- now he's back out on loan at Burton. There's never any guarantees these kids will fill their potential.

There's now doubt Iorfa, Hause, EEL, etc have potential but that could be two years away and they're going to make mistakes in an unforgiving league. Whatever folk think of Stearman (and let's face it he didn't get player of the season for nothing) we're lacking that experienced head to help them out.

I'm just worried at the moment, we're playing a system that even the players don't seem to understand, we're shipping goals and there's no sign of the cavalry. Unless something happens we're not going to be troubling the scorers at the top end this season.

Jesus, Morgan and Moxey are being slated for selling Ennis before anything has happened. I ain't too keen on M+M myself but I feel some people hope that they mess up just to say I told you so. GLASS HALF FULL please!! Come on, instead of slating everything let's support the club and rid the negative atmosphere around the ground

16 Sep 2015 21:07:05
We have lost our way, that can not be in doubt.
Is there a split dressing room? I'd say yes.
Is there player rule? I'd say its close?
Are we reaching a belfry boy club stage? My source tells me we are?
We have some good pros but we have some big egos.
Been there before ain't we.
Jackett will sort it but expect some casualties along the way.
Jackett picks players he can trust, make of that what you will.
I can tell you with jackett it my way or the highway.
Taxi for .watch this space.

Nick Powell to sign on loan from man utd

16 Sep 2015 21:38:04
Recall the vultures Realist; we ain't dead yet! Don't know about Jackett's way or the highway - Jamie O'Hara had a few games in Kenny's first season despite him being isolated to the reserves. If needs be. But I honestly don't believe there is any divide in the dressing room. The loss of Sterman will be felt in the dressing room more than anywhere; especially without Batth. My concern is on the pitch rather than off - performances have been poor. Take care of the results and the rest will hopefully follow.

I see moxey as not changed would make a good politician was at is best again at the fans parliament giving is usual answers to questions such as not the actual amount of money paid for things at club in transfers,wages etc.always saying on par with most clubs but never the actual amount,then to say sako worth £10 million ,well they should of invested that bit more last year to push for promotion and who nows I think sako would of stayed with wolves ,the same will happen this year if not promoted with our star young performers they will leave if not promoted,but at least we will get some money for them or Morgan will I should of said, need to show some ambition quickly K.J. if team not in top 6 you will have failed and afraid you will be gone because you have said this squad is good enough so on your head be it,but I really hope you prove me wrong I would be the first to apologise , you can start by signing a striker firstly to chear me up

17 Sep 2015 15:19:03
Oh oh oh its tragic
You knoooowww
Where's all the money
Redrow

{Ed001's Note - seriously? I really wonder about football fans and their obsession with a quick fix over long term steady progress. Stoke went with the steady progress, as did Swansea. All you seem to want is the Portsmouth and Cardiff! Madness.}

17 Sep 2015 16:26:01
Stoke did the right thing! Got rid of Moxey!! Plus in Coates they have an owner willing to invest and knows what the word ambition means!!

{Ed001's Note - except he invested money the club was earning, and never over invested like you keep asking Wolves to do.}

17 Sep 2015 16:46:56
How would Steve morgan, multimillionaire, investing 10 million on players for serious push for the premiership be over investing? It wouldn't be. He just doesn't have the ambition to risk any of his money. There 100 million available next year in the prem, doesn't that make sense?

{Ed001's Note - you think he happens to have £10m lying around? Being worth multimillions is totally different from having multimillions! He is looking to build a self-sufficient club that is not dependent on him pumping in money. The reason clubs like Parma and Gretna went under was because the owner just invested in players and left the club with no way of paying their wages when they couldn't.}

17 Sep 2015 17:06:04
Good job he didn't buy Liverpool, he'd of been hung by now!!

{Ed001's Note - I doubt it, Liverpool would be better off if they only spent what they made instead of throwing money away under a buffoon of a manager.}

17 Sep 2015 17:28:21
So having average players, we don't need, who don't play ie saville, rowe, van la parra on our wage bill is OK? Having numerous players on our wage bill out on loan is OK? But investing in players with real quality is wrong? If we want to do things on the cheap and survive OK. But to keep saying were going for promotion, when we are clearly not equipt for it, now that's naive.

{Ed001's Note - and what real quality is going to come to Wolves? Maybe Coady for instance?}

18 Sep 2015 07:14:35
Ed you make some excellent points about the need to build carefully and the need for the club to be self sufficient not dependent on the owner. It's hard for us wolves fans to forget that just four seasons ago were starting our third season in the prem. But looking back we needed to make the sort of changes that the baggies have made whilst still in the prem. We didn't and instead of being an established prem side we are where we are. But our current strategy is solid and we have a lot of talent in the club. We have attracted some real quality in Afobe but we can't assume that will occur again easily so we are growing our own and the best way to keep them is playing them. How can anyone judge Saville and Rowe on the games they have played.

18 Sep 2015 07:57:02
Personally I think we have plenty of quality, yes saville rowe and vlp are average players, but most of us thought they were good signings when we made them. Even Sir Alex signed poor players, for every rowe and la parra there's an Afobe and Dicko. I think personally think Morgan has spent a lot of money, YES he's made mistakes YES he was partially at fault for our double dip. BUT it seems to me that he has learnt from his mistakes and that we are building a bright future for this club. as Ed001 said look at Stoke, Swansea, Southampton that is the way we are building. Building the club doesn't take 1 or 2 seasons. the above teams can verify that. there's too much doom and gloom with Wolves fans that's what frustrates me more than anything

18 Sep 2015 08:09:27
ed understand your point, but every business as to take risks
and spending 10 million is not a massive risk to a club like wolves with structured financing you have to see the bigger picture that 10 million could have a 100 million return or we can just sit and be content while similar size businesses
overtake us. we are not Walsall content with our lot we are ambitious and forward thinking ( or should be ). all these small investments saville rowe etc should have been consolidated into one major investment that would make an impact not just pad the squad out.

18 Sep 2015 18:42:46
Well said! There is no standing still in football, if your not trying try to move forward, you will be moving backwards. The way things are going, we will be stuck in the championship for a long time, while a number of teams will yo yo between our league and the prem.
