Some of our top performers last season, ikeme, stearman, batth, sako, macdonald and dicko all missing from today's line up, for one reason or another. No real improvement with the signings we've made and a new formation and system that doesn't work. I have all ways backed jackett but from pre season til now I think he has totally lost the plot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jackett is a mediocre championship manager, we over achieved last season as we're on a high from promotion. We will NEVER get promotion to the premiership with Jackett in charge!! He's happy with his squad?? What Planets he on!! CLUELESS!!

12 Sep 2015 18:12:22
2years work undone, Jacketts hands are tied, we are never going to spend the money needed to progress.
Relegation battle is a certainty.
Don't think we will get anywhere near the top six.
Afobe will be sold in January, a certainty.
Jackett will move on or be sacked before the end of the season.
No club can have been knocked back by so many players more than us.
It can't be the facilities.i
It can't be the fan base nor the size of the club.
So is it penny pinching?
Is it lack of ambition?
My feeling is that Morgan and moxey are interested in lining their own pockets, are bulletproof and once again are ripping of the fans.
Morgan is a Liverpool fan, his heart is not in Wolverhampton.
Nothing anyone says will change my opinion.
We are a business to him, the money has dried up.
His well spent tenner has made him a very wealthy man.
But my friends the cash cow will keep Morgans bank rolling.
January will see an exodus.
Iorfa,Ikeme,Hause,McDonald,afobe,Ennis have sell on values.
Expect at least 3 to be sold to " fund re-investment".
. on Redrow homes.

Coincidentally the same person said we were in a relegation battle last season

12 Sep 2015 21:33:12
Get Big Sam in!!

He will stand up to them lot who make bad decision after bad decision.

I do like Kenny but he is too much of a Yes man.(big reason why Mick was sacked)

12 Sep 2015 21:58:02
So many 'fans' blaming kenny because we've lost a few games, pipe down, chill out, have faith, we'll sort it out.

12 Sep 2015 22:00:19
Another thing, if Morgan was so money obsessed with no ambition why didn't he sell afobe, or cash in on sako in January. Everyone jumping on the bandwagon.

12 Sep 2015 22:16:31
Mitchwwfc, you keep happy clapping, this season will be over before it's got started if things don't change very soon! Jacketts lost the plot and I think the dressing room is split as well.

12 Sep 2015 22:50:00
Like someone has already pointed out.

The spine of our team has gone from our successful 2 seasons.

You can't expect to improve after taking that away, yes I know batth and Dicko due to injury but stears sold McD and Ikeme dropped.

And all this about trying to spend money the last 3 days of transfer window, what is that about??

Why didn't they just do what 95% of fans knew we had to do and spend it during the summer?

12 Sep 2015 23:35:36
I'm just having faith in my team, it's easy enough to play the blame game, the season is young and there's plenty of time to sort it out

13 Sep 2015 09:50:03
Sorry Mitch I love you'd pessimism but 8-9 other teams in our division have strengthened considerably while we stood still and sold or lost our key performers.

I go to most games and to be honest I'm really struggling to enjoy it at the moment.

13 Sep 2015 10:38:23
Good shout Dot Cotton! We are going backwards, we need change now or it's a wasted season! Forget the youth policy crap, because if their any good the big teams will come and pick them off!

13 Sep 2015 13:17:29
Mitchwwfc had Morgan cashed in on A fobe, jackett would have walked and spilled the beans, it would have been a car crash of a decision.
He will cash in in January, will sell the jewels in our crown, we will be mid table at best.
If its not about money why have we missed out on some many transfer targets.

13 Sep 2015 14:49:14
At the start of the season my prediction was mid-table obscurity, simply based on looking at several others teams who I thought had bought extremely well in the close season and way better than us. I've seen nothing to change my mind- we're not good enough to challenge for promotion but we won't be going down either.

Why did we sell Stears? Was it down to the Fat Controller looking to reduce the wage bill (worrying) or did KJ honestly believe we've currently got better (more worrying).

Should KJ go- possibly. For me tho the important question still comes back to what exactly are Morgan and FC's ambitions for this club. Could be a long season.

13 Sep 2015 17:56:38
Those 2 goals we gave away against a poor team like Bolton was absolute rubbish defending, if iorfa had been at full back they would never of scored 2nd goal and even the 1st goal would never had happened with stears playing ,goldbourne did not defend it well after the back header ,K.J. as got me worried saying he is happy with is defence ,what planet is he on,and to me he is messing with the side to much ,Edwards position is a problem to accommodate him,
.there are players playing out of position ,not pleased with our performances so far need players urgently ,mid table on these performances which I am sorry to keep saying but its not good enough playoffs minimum or Kenny I am afraid you will be up the road.
Also k.J. you are getting a bit boring with your silly comments we the fans are not stupid and now what we wanted to improve side and you and the board have not delivered REPEAT THIS SIDE AS NO WAY INPROVED FROM LAST YEAR we was short of quality players last year to push on and we are worser now with Dicho and Sako gone every wolves fan nows that except you and the board I AM ONE UNHAPPY wolves fan at the moment

13 Sep 2015 18:21:59
. as long as this penny pinching carries on the club and the fans will be up s**t creek without a paddle.
Morgan needs to spend some serious money on wages and/or transfers.
we are going knowhere fast relying on kids alone, expierienced defender and battling midfielder required as a minimum.
also if kj keeps on fa**ying about with the team they ain't going to gel are they.

13 Sep 2015 19:54:39
Well Thanks guys. I feel so much happier having read all that!

13 Sep 2015 20:46:32
Mitchwwfc, you and I are on the same page. Have faith people the team just needs a couple of results and we will sore. I am an optimistic fool but at least I can see the silver lining x

14 Sep 2015 12:05:20
Moxey says sako needs replacing which we have not, Morgan says after Blackburn game when we were in premier this will not happen again when will these lies end the 2 M's have took season tickets though on the strength that they told fans they would spend at the beginning of the seasons and they have not delivered in any way.
I think its time to call Morgans bluff when he said if you don't want me I will go ,well I am afraid Mr. Morgan I wish you would and take moxey with you we couldn't do no worse because if you love this F.C. as much as you say you do invest and prove me and the fans wrong
You have got to laugh even B'HAM. Have got it right and they have done it on a shoe string but seam to now how to get it right

14 Sep 2015 13:51:15
Let's say we sell the club and end up with Vincent Tan or someone like, playing in red called the Wolverhampton warriors, think we'll appreciate Morgan then

14 Sep 2015 15:05:36
We might also end up with a billionaire Arab or Russian oil Billionaire?? We're going nowhere with these guys in charge! As a sth and someone who goes to majority of away games i'd be willin to take the chance! Put the club up for sale Morgan as your investment in our first team is crap!!

14 Sep 2015 16:10:16
Imagine if we got a new owner who's lucky colours were blue and white and liked stripes -(

14 Sep 2015 16:27:22
It frightens me the attitude of people on this site anyone with anything positive to say is called a happy clapper . Sport is all about a positive attitude you people must get very down . Seven players in seven out it's not going to happen overnight these youngsters need time and support . I believe Kenny will get it right don't be daft and sack him that's the very last thing we need . Morgan and moxey do want us to be in the prem they are not going to spend the millions they did before . I for one don't blame them and like the way they want to do it . I'm proud of our young players and back them all the way.

14 Sep 2015 18:20:52
Hope your a young bloke pembswolf, because the way their going about things promotion will not happen in the near future!

14 Sep 2015 19:26:40
These youngster's need experience around them, players who lead by example, adding leadership and guidance in the dressing room. Name one player who fits this bill. We have some players with great potential at the moment. With each loss the pressure will grow for the next game and this potential will be wasted if their confidence is destroyed but loosing week in, week out.

14 Sep 2015 19:57:22
We had a young midfielder with great potential and he is quite experienced now. But he left because we wouldn't play him. He was man of the match for the opposition on Saturday. We now have the best selection of youngsters ready to break through since the Cullis era but I worry that kids are doomed if the fans won't give em a chance.

14 Sep 2015 20:14:30
Mitchwwfc I mean look at B'ham G.Rowett pardon the spelling as worked wonders with them we are going backwards at the moment let to many goals in and they are silly goals as well we are giving away and K.J. says he is happy with the performance well I for one am not to give silly goals away to a poor team who I think have not won a home game in ten correct me if I am wrong,I agree with Paul Tamworth we need to spend or like I said before sell the club, but to someone only who will invest in players because everything else is in place for the next stage if Mr. Morgan don't want to,and I also think someone would jump at the chance can't keep waiting for these young ones to come through it will take ages as good as some of them are they need some experienced leaders with quality with them so OVER TO YOU MR. MORGAN it will not go away the crowds are dropping because you are letting we down again

15 Sep 2015 08:47:36
Cannot Believe the posts on here after so few games.

The plan going forward will be Batth with Iorfa or one from Hause/Ebanks-Landell. Is that seriously that bad? I believe Ebanks, Hause and Iorfa all have great potential and alongside Batth will only get better. Steraman was out of contract next season, renewing on current salary not viable so why not try and improve our own for the future?

People saying we can't rely on youth yet 18 months ago couldn't stop moaning about overpaid has beens and why can't we produce the kids other teams do. We are now doing that but suddenly haven't the patience to give them even the first 10 games of the season?

We may get taken over by some arab or russian?? If someone with that much cash wanted us they'd already have us let's be realistic eh!

Morgan sees us as a business? That is exactly what we are. People who think solely with their heart do not become the millionaire/billionaires they are and even the rare Sir Jack type still got panned by sections of the crowd.

Do you start looking for a new job after a tough few weeks? Rash decisions do not work as we have seen first hand.

If in 10/15 games time we are still struggling then fair enough but stop panicking so early.

15 Sep 2015 10:19:32
Just Smith you said it better than I did it's a he'll of a long season!

15 Sep 2015 10:35:01
Just Smith - spot on!, finally some one with their glass half full!, let's be honest, the teams we've played this season, only the Bolton game I would have expected more from before the season kicked off. I'm still very excited at the potential this squad has, and even our u21s and u18s have. The future is bright at wolves no matter how gloomy some of you make it, oh and what's our motto? "Out of Darkness Cometh Light"

Says it all really

15 Sep 2015 11:36:37
Justsmith, StuuCorbett and pembswolf your obviously happy bein a mediocre team in this division for the foreseeable future?? Each to their own I guess.

15 Sep 2015 15:42:04
Just Smith, finally somebody who's on the same wavelength!

16 Sep 2015 11:31:37
Paul Tamworth have a word with yourself. You're just extremely negative/pessimistic where as I like to try and be positive and extremely ambitious both in the club I support and in life. With that comes realism.

The dream is to be an established prem club and maybe win a cup. If you're truly honest that's as good as it gets for all outside the big 4/5.

Now If I remember we tried that what appears to e your favoured approach and it failed miserably and took how many years to put right?

You cannot seriously tell me you don't think it's promising seeing players such as Iorfa, Hause, Afobe, Coady, batth etc developing instead of signing a Roger Johnson?

What do you want? Buy in a load of players who yo yo divisions or try and add quality players like Afobe to our fast improving young talent.

Personally I'd have liked us to sign a good winger to replace Sako but I'm prepared to give Ojo a chance. I'd have liked a striker (only because of Dicko injury), otherwise I'm happy with Afobe, Dicko, ALF and give the kid a go. We will sign a striker on loan. Is that so bad?

Batth will be like a new signing so once KJ establishes who to play alongside him we will be set. I'm not overly joyed with messing around with what was a good formation but he is better tweaking now than realising at the end of the season.

That is not settling for mediocrity it is thinking long term both on the pitch and potentially off if one of the kids steps up to the big time.

Put it this way, how many Brighton players would you have been banging the door down for 6 weeks ago??

16 Sep 2015 18:49:26
I for one am looking forward to seeing these players develop, I see potential in all of them, yes the club have made some BIG decisions, but we are yet to see if they're good or bad ones. You may be right, but i'd like to see players like Ennis Iorfa Hause and the like given the chance, I don't want us to sign another forward, I'd rather promoted Bright and see what he can do!, I think we have the start of something brilliant at wolves but I'm scared that the doom and gloomers will be too impatient to allow this philosophy todevelop!
