Wolves need wake up and realise u have pay good money for quality players if that be wages or transfer fees , time stop penny pinching yes u can get good bargains for not much money but usually experiance costs - we not got big wage earners at club anymore so why we not getting targets? - I not say spend £8m on a player but we got least compete. Come on wolves let's get quality experianced players and stop looking at scraps that others don't want - in kj we trust

I totally agree rob. It's getting very frustrating us not competing in the market, soon as another club show there interest we either pull out or don't match the personal terms.

A lot say we have done well with transfers while Kenny has been here but I disagree. In 2 seasons only decent players we have bought are Afobe Dicko McD maybe Goldbourne. that's 4 in 2 full seasons.

Dont get me wrong Kenny is doing a fantastic job and I like the players he identifies I just think he needs a lot more support from the board when it comes to transfers.

We should try to compete but not be silly. We're not rolling in money so the money we have should be spent wisely. Yes we have got rid of the big earners but I wouldn't be surprised if the club is still losing money every week.

We lost out on signing Wood but we don't know exactly how much Leeds were willing to pay him. What if they offered him £25K a week? I don't think Wolves could compete with that. I'll be happy to let the young players go again and if we can bring in the right players who fit in with the new financial budget we have then great.

I don't know what you expect, we missed out on Wood, which is a good thing by the way. 3 million for a player who wouldn't get near Afobe or Dicko, we need another ST but we don't need to spend 3 million on one player, Wallace is a bright young player, need to get another GK, CM, LW and ST.

Think your both being a little too negative. We've got a good squad that's been built from signings and players from our youth squad. Yes we have missed out on a few players but for every player we've missed out on we have brought another in who's as good as or if not better e.g. Wilson - Afobe. I personally think we've been very good in the transfer window's.
Successful Signings;
Afobe
Dicko
McDonald
Golbourne
Henry
Jacobs

Unsuccessful Signings;
Rowe
Clarke

Average/Unproven Signings;
Kuzscak
Saville
La Parra

We've also used a large amount of players from our youth team all of them have been very impressive e.g. Iorfa, Price, Hause, Evans.

Yes i'd love us to go and sign a great experience player for about 5m+ but we've been down that road before and look where it got us. Yes all experienced players aren't like O'Hara ect. But we are creating our own experienced players who other clubs down the line will be wishing they had.

I might be being too positive but i'm very happy and excited with the way we are going at the moment, and all our players look happy and look like they're enjoying being part of the club

I'll admit I too become frustrated at times, but it all makes sense. We have to look very carefully at who we're signing. Morgan was given a cruel slap a few years ago. £12m was spent on Johnson and O'Hara. Both were vilified and largely responsible for our double relegation - another enormous financial loss for the club and Morgan. Solbakken's signings also failed - bar of course Sako. But Morgan gave £20m to Solbakken, and as he rightfully protested after our loss to Blackburn in 2012, we were the FIFTH BIGGEST SPENDERS IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE. This is neither sustainable nor successful. So I am fully supportive of the programme in place of promoting youth. What seems like a lack of ambition is actually fairly calculated.

Looking over all the serious targets we've had since Kenny was appointed, who was a serious loss and who are we delighted to have dodged. I think bar Callum Wilson, all our other targets were bullets dodged - and I fully expect at the Leeds United circus that Chris Wood will join that ever expanding list.

Take a quick look at Burnley - got promoted two years ago. Total spend on transfers; £800,000. That means we should require just another £600,000! Look at Brentford. A meagre total spend. Yet clever rotation and a great spirit got them to the play-offs. Bournemouth - £3m on Callum Wilson and now they're in the big time! You don't have to spend big, you just got to be savvy. Or at least in our case, have a little Moxey!

Keep the Faith you guys above, the loan window opens soon!

Well said Golden Wolfie, too many people are quick to jump at Morgan and Moxey and moan for not spending enough. Realistically Morgan has spent a lot of money on our club, admittedly sometimes on the wrong things, but I feel he has learned from his past mistakes and is determined to right the wrongs of 2 seasons ago and doing it in a way that won't leave us short in the long run, or say after 3 seasons in the premier league as before. Morgan, Moxey, Jackett and Thelwell are working well together at the moment so let's not get on their backs and support our great club
