Way too much money. Afobe only cost us 2m and he is a better player than Mason. Woild like to see that kind of money spent on the left wing to replace Sako instead of average strikers when we have Afobe and Dicko leading the line.

Croy wolf like I say wolves have clearly seen something in him to pay the 3m tbh he's always been very highly rated at Cardiff so that could be a reason plus he's scored goals out on loan at this level and with a few with Cardiff when they got promoted so but like clearly something has been shown at wolves to make them offer that much because I wouldn't pay it either

Agreed CroyWolf it doesn't make a lot of sense. He's been a bit player and cannot be rated at £3million in comparison to Dicko let alone Afobe. Sounds like the press/agent bigging him up

And I also think you'll find the ameobi thing is true because wolves have confirmed there not interested in a few players but he wasn't one of them so like I say wolves will probably spend the money on his wages and the 3m on mason and probably about 2m on a CM

What you have to consider with transfer fees is the longer the player has left on his contract the higher the fee will be. Also yes we have those two leading the line but as I have said before all teams need 3 strikers as you need a different option on the bench if it's bot happening or to cover injuries or loss of form. Hope we don't sign Ameobi though as not much good what I've seen
