Why a disaster? Martinez did an exceptional job at Swansea and initially at Everton. Went a bit pear shaped recently but with a new foreign owner, new CEO, we need someone who knows the English game.

Missed out the wigan bit there poz, ruined them! I agree martinez no better than kenny, still gutted flores just moved to new club, i'm going to put one out there Marco Silva, walked out on Olympiakos recently :)

I think opinions of Martinez have been soured by last years events at Everton - there were clearly issues behind the scenes I suggest, but either way its a game of opinions George. i'd have him.
I really do think we need someone with experience of the English game given our new managerial set up with no one around the club with a clue about how to get out the division. blind leading the blind scenario. If you apply this principle, there's not that many out there available NOW.
