Clarke is correct about this I believe. Apparently Spanish National Team are trying to sign him. Get the new owners first anyway, find a manager second. It's not end of the world if lopetegui doesn't sign.

Dave Clarke, if you know the deal is off, why refer to false sources to prove your point? Personally I ain't got a clue whether its on pr off but if it was off, why delay an announcement? Not in anybody's interests to keep it rumbling on.
