Quite happy with out business over the past day or so. Andy Lonergan is a great signing. Matt Smith also fits the mould of striker we're looking for - strong, good in the air and a presence in the box. Not the most prolific but still decent at this level. Also, he and Dicko could have a great relationship up-front; a Crouch-Defoe combination if you will.
Seen an excellent post earlier from Tom Tit that, and it's only a maybe, that Fulham owe us some of the funds from the Stearman deal. Would certainly make sense. Stearman cost them £2m - £1m up front and two players. Either way I'm a little happier than I was a few days ago swimming at an ebb only supporting Wolves can offer! Still need 4-5 more signings though before the summer's through.
