Good solid win well done Mighty Wolves! ) 👍 But I still stand by what I said! Rowett is a better manager than Jackett. We would be higher up the league than we r now with him in charge with this squad. New owner new manager asap! 👍.

Rowett is a good manager with no budget he wouldn't have a clue if had wolves budget and u wouldn't get players like afobe price Henry in team under him.

31 Oct 2015 17:15:34
It's all about opinions? I don't want either! I want a new owner with my ambition and a manager who can attract players of quality! SIMPLES! 👍.

31 Oct 2015 19:46:02
A manager does not attract players of quality, a lucrative financial contract does!

Havin a good manager helps!

31 Oct 2015 20:13:46
How does a good Manager help without financial support?

01 Nov 2015 09:26:57
Jackett is a very good manager. He picked exactly the right team and tactics yesterday and the team were prepared perfectly to carry them out. He doesn't shout his opinions but the players know where they stand. He accepts when we get it wrong and clearly has integrity. In two seasons his track record has been very good and has suffered this year through the loss of two key players. Probably selling Stearman was a mistake but if we keep Williamson we are probably better off.

01 Nov 2015 09:53:22
No he's not!

01 Nov 2015 18:54:52
Oh yes he is!

Reminds me of a pantomime ;)

01 Nov 2015 19:23:51
It has reminded me of a pantomime at times. Rowett did a good job with Burton and nearly got them promoted from the bottom league. Hasselbaink has built on his good work to finish the job. KJ went one better 10 years ago with Swansea. He started learning his managerial trade at Watford and built on his coaching experience working with Sven at Man City before doing a quality job at Milwall. He broke all records for points gained n getting out of division one and achieved the highest points not to get into play-offs. His team has played some of the best quality football at the Mol in years and he is navigating a tough time through injuries. He is a quality manager and will build a quality side here if he is given the chance.

Well said 'victory v', an excellent post.

01 Nov 2015 20:34:11
Disagree, he is a mediocre championship manager at best and we will not get promoted with him in charge! Hence his 6 yrs at Millwall, Wolves are the biggest club he's managed and he will fail and won't get a club as big as ours again. Victory v and chasetown your livin in a bubble, before the end of the season your bubble will be burst and u will see where I'm comin from!

01 Nov 2015 20:53:32
Mr Angry, please calm down and behave, lmao ;)

02 Nov 2015 10:09:17
In kj six yrs at millwall he never came close to the budget he got at wolves so under the circumstances did well even keeping them in league and like wolves tried promote youth.

02 Nov 2015 10:24:49
Everyone seems to love JACKETT and think he is a footballin genius! He is a mediocre championship manager and Wolves will never get premiership football with him in charge! I'm not replying to any more positives about JACKETT as its borin me now and the JACKETT lovers need to get their head out their?

{Ed001's Note - you have never given a proper reply, all you come out with is this. You have never once explained why you think he is a mediocre manager, perhaps it would be a little less boring if you made a point instead of just repeating that? Why is he mediocre? What is it about his tactics you don't feel will get Wolves out of the Championship? Only Norwich have a mediocre manager in charge and they won promotion, so why is it not possible Jackett could do the same? After all the Championship is utter dog turd in terms of quality over the last few years.}

Well said Ed too many people don't rate kj but don't give evidence why I rate him because looking at what he did on piddley small budgets at millwall and Swansea I think he did well, yes he made mistakes but he kj not pep ( would said mourinio but not looking to clever at moment) so most time gets wolves right and as he got hands tied when comes to tfs not made to many mistakes most seem fit and play the wolves way.

{Ed001's Note - I just don't know enough about Jackett to judge him, personally, so I would like more info than 'he is mediocre' etc.}

02 Nov 2015 19:55:07
He is Head Coach so not the same as manager and isn't in charge of transfers. He has to work with what he's got and if he can't drive the young players on then that's why we need a new manager someone who can. I think he is a good manager but is he right for Wolves now?

03 Nov 2015 17:28:00
Paul is a wind up merchant that's all. He loves something new for 5 minutes then feels he needs to slate everything about it thereafter. He'd prefer to look for negatives over positives and usually you can't change that type of mentality regardless. We could win the league and 3 games into a win-less start in the prem it would be ''I told you so'.

Each to their own but he is massively in the minority when it comes to KJ and that can only be a good thing.

There's work needed for sure and we aren't close to Boro, Derby, Hull or Burnley but after those 4 we are in with as much as a shout as anyone if we can stablise a bit which hopefuly that experience will do.

Am I in the minority Just Smith?
