Never was the term 'game of two halves' more apt than last night v Villa. No shape and no real game plan in the first half but dug in and turned it round in the second half. We are crying out for width - Iorfa was good pushing up wide on the right but under-used and often not spotted. The main talking point has to be Coady in mid-field with KMc. He's not afraid to get stuck in and set up several good moves. Seems like a good buy (perhaps it pays to shop in the bargain basement after all!) Edwards and Dicko took their goals well but please don't waste Edwards on the wing Kenny.
I'm sure many people turned up wondering what we would look like bereft of Sako but I came away feeling a bit brighter about the season ahead. Interestingly Kenny made no subs so that team would seem to be his chosen 11. Be interesting to see the line up v Doncaster.
