I think the teams problems are simply due to the fact that we don't have the quality in certain positions and didn't strengthen well enough in the summer. I think Costa and Jota were expected to make the step up from the Championship but have not performed. Central defence is the same as what we had last year, and is being exposed against stronger teams. Dendonker was bought in a 12m deal, but obviously Nuno doesn't think he is up to standard required. I notice we seem to do deals very late in the window and then have problems getting them over the line (EG ZINCHENKO) . Overall I think wolves thought they had the quality in the team from last year so haven't bought many players in. But I think they have underestimated the quality of the league. I know we had a good start to the season, but last three games have shown some weaknesses. Just hope wolves can sort this in next window.

Hi, understand what your are saying and partly agree with you. Yes Jota has struggled to make the same impact. Costa has had a couple of good games and shows glimpses of his undoubted quality. What we must remember is they are still kids and we need to stick with them because they will come good and are learning and adapting every single game. We have the youngest squad in the league. Although a couple of additions are needed to strengthen further in January, I must disagree with you because I feel our transfer business in the summer was excellent. There will be players rumoured, offered, bid for etc, but if a player doesn't want to come you can't force him and that's what happened with Zinchenko. Would we really want a player in our squad who's heart isn't in it and doesn't really want to be here? Fulham threw money at it and seemed to be buying everybody at one stage. look where they are! This current squad just does not give up, continues to run, try and wears the old gold with pride. I'm loving the ride at the moment and I'm not worried at all about our safety. I've said before this first season is all about learning and staying in the division and I would be very happy if we finished where we are now. Next season we push on again. Rome wasnt built in a day. It took man city a while. I've been a fan since I was a kid in the mid 80s and we've never had it this good. Onwards and upwards. In Nuno we trust. Together we are stronger 🐺.

Are you talking about the same Helder Costa who this very season won his 1st cap the Portugal, the current European Champions. Can't be doing too bad.

JAS M- Costa has won his first cap and could well be a good player for portugal in the future, but this is irrelevant. You say he can't be doing too bad- well, zero assists and goals so far simply isn't good enough for us. If this continues I can see him being replaced by traore or someone else in january or the summer.

I like Costa but he is so frustrating, he can skin players for fun but then fails to do the simple things. His job is to supply the goals and score them as well, and as said he is failing with both. Costa and Jota have both fallen short for us so far this season, so they are both under pressure with January comin up.

Bradmore wolf. Regarding the zinchenko deal. I understand the player not wanting to come and you are correct we don't want a player who doesn't really want to sign for wolves. What was disappointing was that wolves had a bid accepted well before the deadline. Yet he still had not signed until the very last day. With this in mind wolves simply should have looked at other targets if the player was unsure. Instead it got left until the last day and fell through with no time to look elsewhere. Thought that was very poor planning from wolves in my opinion. OK Docherty has performed well so far which makes it less of a priority.
