I'll still support wolves wherever they go. I've been going to the Mol Waterloo Rd since 1964. If we move its part of our evolution - not to be mistaken by revolution. Football has changed over the years and the club are going up. Just get on board the train and go with it. Hopefully, the New Stadium will still be called Molineux, just somewhere else in Wolverhampton. :-) No Problem!

No where else can be molineux. It's our, football's, history. New wolves new ground new identity. For me, being an oldie from the 50s, a bit of the real Wolverhampton wanderers will die if we go.

If you think the ground will be built somewhere else and called Molineux then you’re as deluded as them lot up the road who think they’re a bigger club than the the wolves.
It will be called tsingtao palace.
I for one would not want our home moved or rebuilt anywhere else than where it is.

If it comes down to Wolves moving from Molineux I for one would have no problem with it whatsoever. I personally do not do sentiment. If it gets to a point where we are challenging for (fingers crossed) say European places and the demand for 50,000 tickets is there then i'm afraid we would have to move. We all keep banging on about this new era under Fosun, well i'm afraid for some fans that a new ground would justify this new era. The past doesn’t just die it will live on in all our memories.

Could not have put it better myself Turu! Life goes on and I will still support my team, just because they have moved to a new location doesn't mean its the end of the road. It's Just the start a new journey. One we can embrace and look forward too. As for changing the name, they can call it what they want, wherever it may end up, it would always be the Mol to me. Most of the progressing teams have either moved or will be in the future. There supports will still support the team, wherever they go. The old ground if we moved would always be part of my memory but I would always support my team.! If they can get what they want where they are great, if not then find a new location where they can! Progress I'm afraid.

TURU. You are spot on mate! Life goes on. We like any other business, have to progress or die. I want to stay, but if business dictates we have to re-locate then that's life and progress. To attract the best we need the best, look around at the top teams, it's self evident. Has moving stopped any of the supporters from watch the team they support? NO!! Lots of moaners at the time, but they all eventually get used to it. I support the Wolves and always have done, but essentially that's the team. If we move to another location, the team are the team. Where we are now would always live with me, never to be forgotten, but I would embrace the future. :-)

Agree with above posts.
I remember reading a rumour somewhere last year when the first whispers of ground move came out that a site fosun were thinking of was by the new i54 by where they built the new jaguar plant, nothing concrete just (mind the punt) chinese whispers.

Manc_wolf. I honestly believe that if we were to move in the future our current owners wouldn’t rename the ground. They are very much in touch with what us fans want. Also imagine what it could do to the local area in terms of staging other sports or maybe gigs. Imagine Led Zepplin opening the new ground hahaha (wishful thinking I know) . I know there's also talk of taking the England team around the country instead of playing every game at Wembley. I for one would love to see an England qualifier at the ‘NEW MOLINEUX’! UTW.

Not too long ago, the Detroit Tigers moved from their Tiger Stadium, which was at the same location for 90 years. People said they would never get used to a different location but nobody seemed to mention it much after a few years.
Time heals all wounds.

Detroit Tigers? Bloody hell! In what way is that relevant to football and Wolves fc?
