So Boro offer Traore a new contract and the media all say it is to "keep the Wolves from the door" - How pathetic! He has two years left on his current contract and would be an person to sign anything with them until next Summer at the earliest. In the meantime, clubs could initiate a move with the $18m clause now, wait until January, or even early next Summer. Either way, the price isn't going down and signing a new contract doesn't put it up and would be committing professional suicide.

Paul- Behave mate, please tell me what is 'very underwhelming' about signing: Boly, Jota, Otto, Particio, Jimenez, Vinagre and MOUTINHO all in one window?! My word some people are hard to please, you offer those players to most newly promoted teams and they'd bite your hand off twice over! ;)

lol perhaps underwhelmed was the wrong word. But the players mentioned were here already so we already knew we were signin them. I'm EXCITED about the Traore signin I think he will be a wrecking ball to a lot of Prem defences. Not sure Moutinho will partner Neves regularly as they seem a bit lightweight in centre mid. Still for me a striker as Leo isn't good enough, a midfield enforcer and a centre half still needed.
