Long term lurker on here lads. Thought I weigh in with what I think we need to do with about a month left in the window and maybe signing a spine of experienced Premier League players.
Strikers. Bonatini and Raul are similar players and we need someone else. Options. Andre Silva on loan with a view to buy. Might be unpopular but I want some prem experience. Troy Deeney. I just think he is a massive handful and he also hates Villa.
Joao Mario on loan as an attacking Mid looks possible. With Gibbs White around though not sure I would bother. We 100% need an a DM. Options Badou Ndaiye. Good player. I think would cost too much. Kamara. Untested but could be a Barry Douglas signing. Another left field signing . Danny Drinkwater. Would be great next to Neves. Offer Experience of the prem. Or take a punt on Ben Pearson at Preston. From what I seen he is very good and could make the step up easy.
CB wise let's just go and spend 20m on Alfie Mawson as long term I can see him and Coady getting in the England squad and have the likes of Hause used more in the squad.
RWB I like Iorfa but he probs is not good enough to cover Doc. So let's go get Antonio from West Ham. I think gives you cover there and across the attacking positions and is a realistic signing again with a lot of prem experience. Who Nuno could make a better player.
Players to sell Jordan Graham on loan. Need to cut our losses with Phillip Ofosu just release him. Loan out Bright. Sell Danny Batth. But keep Bennett and Saiss and Mir as squad players.
I really think if we go get some experienced prem players that squad can get top 8.
Also William Carvalho just gone to Betis on a free so don't worry about Patricio as they are going to have to sue everyone. And we will settle on a tribunal.

Good post, I agree with a lot of what you say
But if Wolves are going to shell out £25m+ on a tentpole striker it ain't going to be Troy Deeney!
I'd rather buy two £12M workhorse centerbacks than a striker who scored 5 goals in 30 appearances last season.
I know people aren't super happy with Wolves only having Jimenez and Bonatini, but I will put money on both of them putting away at least 5 goals next season, I doubt we will sign another striker now, it is just not a priority.

Pav- good post indeed, I agree with most of the shouts made there! Except I also wouldn't bother with Deeney, not cause I don't think he's good (I do) its more just because of his hero status at Watford his wages and fee and disproportionate! I also think it wouldn't happen anyway cause Troy is one of those lads that just won't leave London, I suspect he'd even drop down a league before leaving the capital.
Have been thinking myself though with seeing Antonio touted at £15m that he would be a GREAT signing (especially for how we play)! Would be just perfect having him and Barry bombing down the wings whipping in crosses and getting on the end of the odd one.
Unfortunately its unlikely we will see him or Mawson anytime soon mind as I fear they don't fit our previous recruitment model. I reckon Mendes has told Fosun to steer clear of the 'English player premium' but hopefully I am wrong.
One point I would make is that Betis did pay for Cav by all accounts the press are saying around £18m. I have a feeling Sporting will do deals for the rest as they won't want the same hassle not to mention (annoyingly) it makes their case against us stronger if the other (non-Mendes) players leave on good terms.

Troy Deeney is available for £10million not a bad price tbf, I think something is certainly going to happen within next 3 weeks regarding players coming in and I have a feeling one signing will stun us all.
Nothing concrete just a feeling I have.
