I have been a bit concerned that stories about offers for Cav keep appearing. It feels a bit like something or someone is encouraging Fulham to keep bidding. Could be adding 2 + 2 and making 17, but is Zinchenko the missing piece of the jigsaw. If he comes he will be played as a wide midfielder. One in one out.

I hope he plays as a centre midfielder if Saiss is moves to the back three, otherwise he could be playing Gibbs-White there?

I think it is more likely that Zinchenko will come in to sit alongside Neves in the CM/ CDM role, rather than coming in to replace Cav.
It looks like we will only bring in 1 or 2 more players, including Zinchenko if he comes, considering we've let N'diaye go that leaves no depth in center mid, Neves or Saiss getting injured and our whole system would fall apart.
So I think it will be Jota and Costa on LW/ RW with Cav able to play in both positions as cover, Neves and Zinchenko as the two CDMs with Saiss able to play as cover, I think Saiss will also play cover as a CB.
