Sporting Lisbon are in crisis - six players have terminated their contracts now among them star striker BAS DOST - the president of sporting has appeared on Portuguese tv pleading with the players to return to the club and he will step down if they do - this the same guy who has vowed take players to court over their termination of contracts - Wolves need act fast and get some these players while sporting in turmoil.

{Ed001's Note - it would be a huge risk. Sporting could appeal to CAS and the players would be blocked from playing until the case is decided. It could take years. This is a unique situation.}

I hope that a lot of these players go! Dost would be excellent and with Jimenez they’d be perfect surely?

Das Bost was a player I suggested some time ago but we need to steer clear till this is sorted, no good will come of it if we get involved.
Like Ed says may go on for years.
We don't need this kind of aggro.

If the moves are blocked and a resolution not found, essentially the player could be banned for the duration of his contract. In Rui Patricio's case, that's June 2022. This needs to be sorted ASAP not just for our case but for football in general.

Maybe a small fee might just be enough lol.

What's the harm in signing two or three players on a free? Worst is you pay for them. If they don't play, you use the other players you get on loan as backups and if they do play, you just don't buy the players you loaned.
Once you sign the players, Sporting is forced to negotiate with you because the players can just not reach personal agreements with any other teams and refuse to play for Sporting so you have them over a barrel.
It might be a gamble worth taking, if they players are ones Nuno would approve of in other circumstances.
