How stupid do the press think us fans are. The latest is that Wolves have signed Afobe for £12.5m and have agreed to sell him for £12m, thereby making a LOSS of £500k.

Weird one this Jas. depending on how much we signed Afobe for, at the most we would make 2 mil. Hardly seems worth it given our financial footing and further more make future transfers even harder. The man loves the club. Like him or not. (I do) but I’m sure he didn’t sign a contract from one premier league club to another to be sold to a championship club. It doesn’t add up.

According to "Tim" E and S the fee was actually £10m.

Did anyone know that wolves had agreed a deal for Patrício and supposedly had a medical etc all done until this Bruno fella chucked his dummy out I think us wolves fans have just got to sit tight and let the professionals do there job take this idle journalism with a pinch of salt and see what happens I’m sure Fosun and wolves have it all in hand.

It is entirely possible that if we paid £2.5m in loan fees with a £12.5m future fee agreed BUT Stoke have been quoted £15m outright then its just away of saving £2.5m between the clubs in a swap deal. I mean its possible but it ain't plausible! For it to even work Benik would have had to be in on it all along and I just can't see that! Clubs have done similar nonsense in the past and its usually a result of a lower agreed fee but this is the thing here all it can be saving Fosun/ Stoke is approx £2.5m max I just don't see it. Why would Fosun be willing to go through all the faff and negative press (which there would be as this is exactly the wheeling dealer approach clubs moaned about last year) why would they go through all that for what to them is basically pocket change?! Also if they were going to do it they would have hinted at it when they signed him to prepare the fans. For me this is standard press clutching at straws, not Beniks biggest fan but just not sure that's how to run a club with long term aspirations (counting the pennies) . Just paper talk, maybe we're selling him to make way for Ronaldo! Lord save us from all the bs! ;)

Afobe has only cost us in the region of 6M so a nice profit could be made?

Pretty sure it was reported as 10 million.

Cost approx 2M from Arsenal.
Sold to Bournemouth for 10 M
Bought from Bournemouth for 12.5M
Total cost to us of circa 5M plus loan fee.
So like I said, good profit to be made.
