So Neves has been left out of Portugal's World Cup squad. Whilst I am sure he is devastated, from a club perspective it's probably the best thing for Wolves - he gets a summer of rest and he is not further in the limelight (although I believe him when he says he doesn't want to leave) .

Absolutely gutted for him especially when Adrien Silva who hardly played was selected ahead of him. The rest will do him good and hopefully he'll be determined to show the selectors they were wrong which will only benefit us.

Had to replace him in my fantasy team with Toni Kronos. Don’t think many countries are taking this Word Cup serious anyway, certainly not Portugal.
