Premier league, International superstar players, price per match less than £24 North/ South Banks dearest seats less than £29 (Billy Wright) less than £4 for kids and less then £8 for under 17’s take a look at other clubs prices, fans of championship teams (with no hope of competing) are paying more, just be glad Moxey’s not still here. Perhaps people who are going to moan should tell us what they wanted/ expected, really can’t see any reason for complaint.

{Ed001's Note - Huddersfield never put their prices up after promotion.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We’re not Huddersfield who’s their star player and would he get a game at Wolves?

18 Apr 2018 14:08:50
now you just sound like a complete arrogant prick. You will fit in nicely in the Prem.

18 Apr 2018 14:14:35
Nice One Ed. I'm starting to feel the arrogance bubbling up in my Veins . Is this what its like to be premiere league.

{Ed001's Note - sadly it does seem to be the way. Bundesliga sides have much cheaper tickets. No idea why the Prem feels the need to have high ticket prices when they are such a tiny proportion of revenue compared to TV income.}

18 Apr 2018 14:29:55
He may sound arrogant Ed, but he's got a point, like I said in an earlier post, we want to compete and not just make the numbers up like Huddersfield are doin.

{Ed001's Note - and TV revenue is how you do it. Gate money is peanuts in comparison.}

18 Apr 2018 14:36:59
Pity u weren't in charge Ed, u could of given us free tickets👍.

{Ed001's Note - if it was up to me ticket prices would be reduced across the country. The difference in your season tickets gained by the increase will not even pay the wages of one player. They would be far better off concentrating on improving sponsorship deals etc and rewarding the fans who stood by the club in its dark times. I am sure they would recoup the money in the club shop and in the concession stands around the ground by keeping prices down anyway.}

18 Apr 2018 14:49:52
They probably would Ed, but to be fair to Fosun they weren't in charge when it was the dark days and more recently the double dip. They've put their money where their mouth is so I'm not moanin about season tickets going up. The only time il moan is if they went player shopping at Walsall etc. Fans wanted promotion and that's been achieved, and to watch a Prem game for less than 24 quid is sound. As has been said, people don't have to get a ticket? To much whinging for me.

{Ed001's Note - why would shopping at Walsall be an issue? Surely it doesn't matter where a player comes from, only how good they are?

I understand what you are saying but football is supposed to be a working man's game, not every working man can afford to pay any more than they already do. It is ok for you because you can clearly afford it, but what about those less fortunate? What ever happened to people empathising with others?}

Lol your not going to pull on my heart strings Ed, I work hard to, I haven't been given a silver spoon. People who want it will make cuts elsewhere, like in everyday life when it's time for birthdays holidays and Christmas. Cut down on the shopping or weekly drinking, if u break it down it's not a massive amount over 8/ 9 months if you do it direct debit.

{Ed001's Note - if you say so, not everyone has anything left to cut down on.}

18 Apr 2018 15:17:13
Ed over 8 months it's its about 13 quid a month? Just over 3 quid a week? Everybody can make that savin if they want a ticket badly enough.

{Ed001's Note - everybody? OK if you say so.}

18 Apr 2018 15:26:38
if u want something badly enough u will get it, il leave it at that Ed as we won't agree. Anyway I've got work to do so I can renew mine 👍.

18 Apr 2018 15:31:38
Your all forgetting who our sponsors are, pop down to moneyshop I'm sure they would be glad to help, what's their rate now 1000% or higher.
Sooner that shower of shti are of our shirts the better.

18 Apr 2018 15:53:15
That'll be Rajiv Van La Parra, Ron.

18 Apr 2018 17:01:38
I only get 5 weekends off per year. No point me having a season ticket. I will renew my membership though and join the scramble for tickets. I'm not bothered if prices go up as long as the extra money is spent strenghtening the squad, stadium and local facilities.

Guys, let's sit and think about what we actually want as fans for our club, it seems we want a world class team with big money players and signings yet still be paying cheap ticket prices.
We can't have it both ways, don't forget football clubs are a business and need to balance the accounts.
You can't expect Fosun to spend big which we know they will without funds coming into the club to cover the cost of their expenditure, it doesn't work that way unless of course we want to run at a massive loss which can only happen for a short time before it goes pear shaped.
30% may seem a big increase which it is but what do you want Fosun to do? If you want to keep ticket prices at £24 per game than we should of stayed in the championship with a team of average players.
I'm not having a pop here but football hasn't been a working mans game for years when in the big league supposedly challenging for big things.
We all should of known the tickets would go up in price next season.
