Looks like were working through the team signing players by starting with the defence then as that now looks sorted moving onto the midfield.
Can see either one of docherty or iorfa leaving with there now being 3 x right backs. ( hope silvios kept at left back also ) .
With saville and wallace moved out this then frees up space in midfield.
Big problems lie there I think as were nowhere near creative enough. let's hope we bring in quality next in midfield.

Don't think we need a lot in midfield especially on the wings think prince and saiss could do a good job with the right influence could do with some1 like kmac.

Coady could do a good job as a marauding box to box midfielder with Saiss playing more defensive. Take your pick from Cav, Costa, Zyro and Graham on the wings. Also Marshall can play on the right wing as well as RB. I think Nuno has the base of a good squad. Roderick looks an astute signing and Bennett and Ofosu Ayeh will provide strength in depth.

I reckon Marshall could do a decent job as a central midfield playmaker - he can pick a pass as we saw at the end of the season. I am not convinced about Saiss but would like to see Oniangue given another crack.

Agree Statto, if we don't bring a centre mid playmaker in then put Marshall there as he always looks comfortable on the ball and can pick a pas. Hopefully two mids and two strikers to come. And keep Costa! ðŸ‘.

sunderland home first game and edwards defending, attacking, all over the park but only in warm up when he pulls a muscle and misses his first game of the season since joining the club and i've of forgot will be capitaine marvel. hope some of it is true. which bit would you like?
