I've not heard anything Jimmy. But seeing as the Vile fans were the 'other' side of the ground, let's hope it's just a rumour, with no facts behind it

A car drove into it. Drink driver. Think it was early hours of this morning and not football fan related.

Was a drink driver apparantly collided with the statue, this is according to e+s. will post pic from the article in sightings.

Not sure I sent the report to j. j's query re the B. W. statue, but it appears it was a drink-driver hit it. in custody now.

At least it was statue he hit and not a person. Statues can be fixed. I'll never understand why people still drink and drive.
