Lone Star is owned by Ellis Short who also owns Sunderland FC. Is he allowed to have involvement with 2 clubs in the same country?

09 May 2016 20:27:52
John Grayken and Ellis Short are two different people believe it or not. There personal wealth are separate from each others . Yes they made vast fortunes together but Lone star or moneyshop will not be buying wolves it would be purchased with John's own money . In the same way redrow doesn't own wolves Steve Morgans cashmere does.

Hi All

I have words of warning.

Bob Laslett, a Wolves man through and through. With backing from Indian investors.

Im getting a dreadful feeling of deja vu here. Anyone else of my age will reminder EXACTLY the same scenario in the 1980s.

We need to be careful of what we are wishing for here. It just might not be all it seems.

"There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.
"It is an area which we call. the Twilight Zone. "

Funnily enough, the Twilight Zone is making it's radio and TV comeback over the next few months (returning as some kind of new interactive thing) . I wonder if somehow Wolves have become part of it?

09 May 2016 20:05:49
Tom Tit - why the deja vu? We've never had Indian owners!

09 May 2016 20:34:41
You are definitely right there MWP they have all been cowboys to my knowledge, except of course Sir Jack. Who gave it is all which I am most grateful of.

10 May 2016 06:45:35
Oh dear boys. Call yourself supporters. The Bhatti Brothers owned the club with Derek Dougan as there frontman. The club was literally being run into the ground before the Gallagher Brothers then took the club on and turned it around. Earl 80's all this was. i'm showing my age there!

{Ed001's Note - I think you are missing the point, the Bhatti brothers were not Indian.}
