Wolves and Brighton and Hove Albion are both interested in signing out-of-favour Blues striker Jason Scotland on loan for the rest of the season.
The 33-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of June, has featured only once as a sub since Mick McCarthy took over at Portman Road and with David McGoldrick, Aaron Mclean and Frank Nouble having signed in recent days, seems destined to leave on loan during this transfer window.

What is going on? He isn't better than any of our strikers! I thought we were trimming the squad of players not good enough to get games and bringing quality in. Is this the big money striker signing Saunders was on about yesterday? I really hope the E&S are wrong on this one!

jus wondering what type of manager is saunders is he the one on touchline shouting at is players or more layed back? i prefer the manager bellowing orders and have read on doncaster site that saunders leaave players tell him off when he gave orders can't imagine that tho what i have seen him say overe the last few days

Been saying it all season-he's the SPL joint top-scorer..Yeah the Scottish League isn't the Championship but he has proven that he knows where the goal is, which is an area we are sadly lacking in.
He's had problems in the past, but then who hasn't?We can all name world class players who had issues i their past..Hopefully he is past them.
Pull him back from loan, give it a punt, and if it doesn't work out, farm him back to Hibs..

I can't believe henry dared to say he gave 100%.foley, ward, berra, blake, doyle, and henry, cynically set out to get solbaken the sack, and succeeded.It will not take saunders long to sus these players out, I just hope he is man enough to stand up to them, andbring them into line or ship them out.preforably ship them out.

Dont want to keep an unhappy player if hibs can pay for him. certainly has potential but with money for him should be able to pick up a more suitable person and player without attitude! my son is in his mid twenties and was brought up with a better attitude than he appears to have!

I think we should ship on Doyle in this transfer window so long as we get another striker in as he isn't at his best at the moment and is not getting any younger. We could do a lot better than Doyle although I do credit his work rate and effort for the team. I wouldn't mind him staying but we can do better.

Dean Saunders has said at a press conference he would like to add a striker to the squad. Who is anyone's guess.

Wages might be a problem.
If we were at the top half of the championship pushing for promotion then maybe yes, but no chance right now im affriad.
realistically we'll be looking at young talent on loans and maybe one or 2 in if we can get rid of 45 players on the books already.
dont forget we have alot of players boarder line injured now, some we've hardly seen kick a ball for us yet that need to be given a go.

It's best for Saunders to work with the dressing room gang until they all leave by their own accord or retire or he'll just start another SS/AVB like situation.
We all do need to get behind them now, its the only way forward, draw a line in the sand over the last 6 months when players clearly hated stale and his rubbish tactics and move onward and upwards now

I agree to some extent with your thoughts, however, this core of players failed to deliver under MM and TC. Don't forget the way Roger Johnson was treated. It would appear that at times this group tries to rule the roost. I still think over the this window and the next we should move an awful lot of players out and build again.
