Paul Gladon close to re-signing for Heracles.

09 May 2017 10:53:56
One down . many to go.

09 May 2017 12:17:08
Make it so. Billy.

08 May 2017 18:18:45
If Lamberts stayin don't be surprised to see Roy Keane come in as his number2 as he was at villa. I love Keaney doesn't hold back, with words or actions. He was at the game Sunday. 👍.

08 May 2017 19:53:19
Would be interesting. be brilliant for all our younger players as they'd have have a genuine trophy winning fighter showing them the ropes even if his record away from the playing field isn't great I'd take him in a heartbeat.

08 May 2017 19:57:42
Would be interesting.

08 May 2017 20:21:07
Hmmm, could be food for thought!

08 May 2017 20:24:05
Can't see it happening. He left Villa after 3 months to concentrate on the Republic of Ireland role.

08 May 2017 20:32:30
I'm not sayin it will happen but a few are sayin Lamberts bringin in 2 or 3 new backroom team, strange him bein at molineux on Sunday, I could be puttin 2+2 together and makin 5 but there could also be something in it?

08 May 2017 20:58:32
I for 1 would love it. He would soon kick the shirkers into shape.

08 May 2017 21:24:35
Either Roy Keane or Stuart Pearce as coaching staff. Neither if them are good enough to manage but coaching and motivating they'd be ideal.

08 May 2017 21:29:44
Wouldn't want Keane anywhere near the club.

08 May 2017 21:44:31
Nor would half the Wolves squad as he'd soon stop the little cosy set up which has left us in the bottom half of a mediocre league.

08 May 2017 22:12:37
With any luck he might chin Thelwell.

09 May 2017 08:05:56
I'd rather have Robbie Keane!

09 May 2017 08:36:53
PT, what evidence do you have to suggest it is a cosy little set up or are you just peddling your glass half empty views as usual.

09 May 2017 10:14:07
My glass certainly is half empty when we finish bottom half of a mediocre league! And yes it's got to be cosy little set up as there's no one givin them a kick up the arse to improve performances, which shows week in week out! Spiers summed it up, 2015/ 16 season 58 points! Spend 27million 2016/ 17 season 58 points! Enough said!

09 May 2017 13:01:40
So your guessing.
You assume that moving from a "cosy" situation to one of confrontation and division would be of benefit. In my experience the more harmony in a group the better the overall results.
Your grasping at straws trying to pin a poor season on anything that enters your mind. Will be interesting to see your views if we are successful with the same "cosy" group next season.

09 May 2017 17:17:27
If it stays as it is with this cosy group there will definitely be no success! There doesn't have to be confrontations, but u def need someone to crack the whip when their slacking and the league table doesn't lie!

09 May 2017 21:14:38
It's going to be amazing in August:

Hart
Silvio Batth Hause Iorfa
Edwards Rooney Saiss
Graham Ennis Zyro

Subs: Burgoyne Coady Gibbs-White Ronan Dicko

Yes, Joe Hart and Wayne Rooney!

09 May 2017 21:31:00
My guess is that you were not with Wolves when they fell to the old 4th division, that's when you would have felt that your glass was half empty!

08 May 2017 15:53:59
The one player i'd love to see wolves go for is Will Hughes from Derby. Weather he'd leave them for us i'm not sure but money talks I guess. He'd link up brilliantly with JG and Costa (if he's still around) . A proven top class CF at this level with those behind. i'm drooling at the thought! UTW.

08 May 2017 16:50:58
Just seen that Lambert has said how proud he is of the team finishing above teams in our league with bigger resources than we have. Anyone know who those teams are he's talking about. I want whatever he's on please! 😥.

08 May 2017 17:09:19
Quote from the article Birmingham evening post.

PL said below:-

"We have finished above a lot of teams who have bigger resources, so I don’t want the last month to cloud what has been a really good season.

Who are these teams? Again, anyone know which teams he's on about? Of course I wish him all the luck in the world moving forward. I think it will be needed.

08 May 2017 17:10:42
Agree with you on that Turu. Will Hughes is a class act.

08 May 2017 23:35:40
He's talking about QPR who are still getting the parachute payments from the Premier League as well as having joint billionaire owners/ investors. I.

Re: FFP rules,
It's my understanding that a sponsorship by Thomas Cook or Club Med ( both owned by Fosun) can bypass FFP, thus giving added money to spend, isn't this what Arsenal and Man City when renaming their stadia, or are the rules different in the premier league?

08 May 2017 13:43:18
I was under the impression any sponsorship deals have to be judged to be market competitive by the football authorities. Some fans seem to believe Fosun could get one of their companies to invest millions as a kit sponsor or stadium sponsor as a means of by passing FFP. Let’s say the average kit deal for a club of Wolves size in the Championship is £1million year as an example, I doubt the footballing authorities would accept Wolves suddenly having one for £5million a year.
I think this applied to Man City when Etihad sponsored their stadium. Arsenal was slightly different as Emirates is completely separate from Arsenal.
I might be completely wrong but that was my understanding.

08 May 2017 20:47:34
Fosun don't own Thomas Cook. Guang Chang Guo personally has a 10% stake.

08 May 2017 20:56:34
Fosun own 92.8% of Club Med. They paid 939 million euros 4 years after their first offer. They are targeting the wealthy Chinese market.
