David Jones is a free agent now, creative and did well for us in the past, worth a go? Same could be said of Simon Davies
Signed for Sheff Wed some weeks ago.
Happily see Dave Jones back, never understood why we got rid in the first place. He'd be a great signing in this league.
Always thought DJ was agood player, he can be a valuable part of the team. He can play a part in "THE RETURN"

Anyone else been reading KJ on making Ricketts captain? What do you think? An ambitious move for a Bolton cast-off? Or a safe appointment given the history between the two of them?
Sensible move. We will have a pretty young team next year and he is an experienced head in and around this level. I'd have like to see Batth given the armband prior to Ricketts turning up, but Ricketts is fine with me.

The fact that McCarthy would want to take him again, really does make me question his judgement.

Seeing the likes of hull Norwich Southampton tesco all attracting quite high quality names an decent players from the continent makes me think how badly we did once we got to the premier. mm should hang his head in shame! Anyways onwards and upwards an jackett won't do the same far more football educated
I don't believe MM really understood how to manage a team with overseas players (apart from Irish). Even those he signed hardly seemed to play. Maybe that would have made the difference to our Premier campaigns.
