Have heard that the news of Ikeme has meant that the Boly / Neves announcement has been delayed until tomorrow. I wish Carl the very best and hope he has a speedy recovery, top man.

06 Jul 2017 23:38:35
This is spot on, would have been anouced today but sad news regarding Carl postponed it, both will be go through tomorrow.

07 Jul 2017 07:16:26
It wouldn't surprise me if they even delayed it until Monday, or at least leave the press interviews until then.

07 Jul 2017 10:07:04

I've met Carl on a number of occasions and I can honestly say he is one of the nicest people I've ever met. Proper gentle giant who looks after those near and dear to him.

06 Jul 2017 18:22:36
Very sad news regarding Ikeme. Used to join us in the box down the Moleniux with his father. We may now need to be in for 2 keepers ''/.

06 Jul 2017 18:35:41

06 Jul 2017 23:20:01
It won't be casillas jas m as he signed a years contract today.

06 Jul 2017 18:17:04

WWFC has always been in Carls DNA. I am sure Fosuns will help where they can. Stay strong all our fans are with you on this.

06 Jul 2017 18:03:41
Terrible news about Ikeme:

Wolves and Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is to begin chemotherapy after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

The Championship club say Ikeme, 31, returned "abnormal blood tests" during pre-season testing and further checks confirmed the diagnosis.

Ikeme has been with Wolves for his entire career, making more than 200 appearances for Wanderers including 33 in all competitions last season.

06 Jul 2017 18:00:09
Very sad news for Carl Ikeme and wishing him and his family all the very best.

06 Jul 2017 17:58:24
Get well soon Carl Ikeme πŸ˜“πŸ˜“.

06 Jul 2017 17:52:25
Good Luck Carl Ikeme.
Get Well Soon.

06 Jul 2017 17:52:09
Thoughts are with carl ikeme at the moment so sad.

06 Jul 2017 17:48:33
Suggested on NewsNow that Ronan may be loaned out. No way that should happen until January, the lad is class and should be given his chance in the squad. Keep him alongside the class imports and let him learn at home.

06 Jul 2017 18:37:35
Agreed completely Wollabby. Our youngsters have a chance to be part of something exciting, with a different attitude, mindset and approach. They can only benefit from this, for the longer term future of the club.
As we saw last year, give some of these guys a chance, with nothing to fear and less to lose, and they will blossom.
Loan them out to a lower kick and rush league and they will not progress.

06 Jul 2017 17:17:23
To the tune of Joe swash Ollie Ollie Ollie T*ts in the trolley (I'm a celebrity get me out of here)

Boly Boly Boly,
Edwards on the volley,
Costa put one in the top bin,
We like to play it on the grass,
Neves lethal with the pass,
All we do is win win win!

I know, I know. transfer rumours got me giddy.

06 Jul 2017 11:41:36
Would love to see neves and ronan in midfield. Neves breaking the play up and both spraying the ball around for fun. Costa and cav on the wings interchanging. Frightening proposition.

06 Jul 2017 12:22:51
Anyone that went to the Open training session with me yesterday would totally agree with that OTD.

Conor scored the goal of the day with some amazing one two footwork with himself before slamming the ball home. The 500 people in the crowd Applauded his great goal.

The boy has so much potential.

06 Jul 2017 12:48:06
Stuwolf I haven't seen a home grown talent like ronans since robbie keane and the rest is history as we say mate. Some on here will say he's too young/ inexperienced etc etc but if he had a household name and was brought from another club for big money everyone would be raving about him. he's shown in the under 23s he's too good, sheff wed away man of the match and bossed the midfield. I say HIS TIMES NOW AND LOOSE HIM OFF HIS LEASH NUNO.
Too talented to just make up the numbers.

06 Jul 2017 13:35:14
At 19 if he's good enough he's old enough, Connor is an exceptional talent which I'm sure won't be unnoticed by NES if he's as good a manager as we all hope. Neves who we are all creaming over is 20 and what had he achieved when 19.

06 Jul 2017 13:37:52
I'm telling now OOD.

Nuno was all over him like a rash yesterday, the kid ran the midfield in the team he was with, Marshall played at the back but linked up brilliantly with Conor.

If Carlsberg did players it would be Conor.

06 Jul 2017 13:48:15
Fosun, Nuno and Mendes do seem to be building something special, if NES can get the team to gel quickly this will be our year.

06 Jul 2017 10:29:39
Neves just been seen is Asda's.

06 Jul 2017 11:38:51
Blimey! What a let down. There was me hoping he'd at least be a Sainsbury's man πŸ˜ƒ.

06 Jul 2017 12:35:38
Come on now he wasn't in Asda he was in lidl.

06 Jul 2017 13:58:12
Heard he was after sardines and a barbe, deal must be as good as done.

06 Jul 2017 17:13:14
Sure someone didn't say to him the Tescos were after him, and he tried to find them?

06 Jul 2017 17:33:28
Once settled think you will find he a ocarda purchaser 🀣Think big story is how Nuno convinced boly join on loan seeing as both player and agent determined they weren't going come to wolves so an amazing turn around in circumstances.

06 Jul 2017 10:23:02
First post on here guys, so go easy. Been logging in everyday for the last year mind.

Jumping the gun on signings, but here's my starting XI. Similar set up to Chelsea, with Nev being the more creative deep lying mid, Douglas and Marsh providing the width. Hopeful get another striker in, but as it stands.

Ikeme

Marsh Miranda Big Wily Bennet Dougl

Saiss Neves

Costa Graham

Dicko.

06 Jul 2017 10:56:42
Close but there's no way you play JG over Cavaliero. I can see Cav really kicking on and being a star this season.
Ikeme (Not good enough)

Marshall Willy Miranda Hause Douglas

Saiss Neves
Cavaliero Costa

Dicko (at the minute)

06 Jul 2017 11:14:25
Surely Osufu-Ayeh instead of Marshall and very optimistically Aboubakar up front. now that's a team!

06 Jul 2017 11:35:16
Not seen much of the new lad Osufu-Ayeh, just a few you tube videos. I have to say what I've seen I will be suprised if he gets in ahead of Marshall. He doesn't look great on the ball; I believe NES will play with wing backs and Marshall's supply, attacking play and free kick taking puts him way ahead for me. I Would go as far to say I think Marshall is one of the best Wing backs in the league if not the best. I would love to see a top draw keeper and striker added to the side I suggested.

06 Jul 2017 12:13:20
I agree with Jeff and would play Graham instead of Cav. Also need to remember that Cav is suspended for the start of the season.

06 Jul 2017 15:50:34
Selection will be very interesting. I hope there is a clean slate for everyone, whether they were a Nuno/ Mendes signing or not. There will be a contest for all positions but particularly right wingback, left wing, and midfield alongside Neves.

06 Jul 2017 17:19:31
Can't call him Big Willy surely. Might as well go for Bigus Dickus. As opposed to Dicko, who isn't big enough.

05 Jul 2017 23:51:44
I'd sell batth coady Evans price bodvarsson i'd keep Edwards just to show the newbies around and settle them in. i think it would be a mistake to let Doherty go.

06 Jul 2017 20:25:04
Surely get rid of DE as he will stay forever. No room for headless chickens in our new carpet footballers style of play. Nuno is progressing well in his cull with the hangers on. What about GK Jose Sa to take over as no1?
