What's everyone's thoughts on Edwards possibly getting a new contract?
I'm not over whelmed yes he's scored a few goals but at best he's a mid championship team player but he's constantly injured and I think Evans fills that role well
Personally is rather go for Pritchard then extend Edwards contract
His injury record is certainly a problem, no doubt about it. He ain't going to do 46 league matches per season or anything like, so you really can't build a midfield around him. That said I think KJ seems to rate him, maybe sees him as one of the experienced players he'd like to keep (?) - so possibly 1 yr with 1 yr extension. A covering option possibly. wolfshead.
Personally, I would give Edwards a twelve month rolling contract, due in part to him being injury prone. Good player, scores goals but is very infuriating when he runs around like a 'head-less chicken'.
Much rather have McDonald and Price in midfield!
