1 win in 10 does not make good reading especially as the team we beat are themselves on a massive slide and having listened to the entire game tonight I still believe Saunders should be sacked this week, the man is making our problems worse with the long ball tactic.

However, I do hope that I am wrong on my assessment of his abilities (lack of) and tonight's win is followed by another this weekend

Well done though, good result but this does not change the fact you have got us in this mess

Try giving the blame where it really belongs. The 3 previous managers.

1 win in 10 reads slightly better than 0 wins in 11

1 win in 10, yes. Lucky for Deano it's the most recent match and he can say "Told you so". If all he won was his first with Wolves then we'd be saying "Told you so".

On a run, unbeaten in March! I'll take whatever I can get right now. Out of darkness cometh light.

Didn't anyone do maths at school? It's called "the Law of Averages!"

I'll take whatever points we can get but Saunders isn't the man for the job! And to blame SS for the mess we are in is laughable!

Not SS's fault at all. His signings are our best players.

The law of averages didn't quite apply to TC did it!

Agreed it didn't apply to TC! Sure he would have got some wins in the Championship though! Don't think Dumbo would have got a win last year in TC's position.

Normal service will be resumed on Saturday. Clueless Dean got lucky last night. Saunders out.

Woo Hoo.

Could this be the start or just a brief moment of joy. Well done lads. It's about bloody time!

Big rumour going round that wolves have finally won a game! Surely there must be some mistake? Nope, get in! Just hope we can kick on from here now.
Stephenwolf74

I had to come on this forum this morning to make sure it wasn't all a dream and/or my internet isn't showing match reports from 5 years ago.

Sanity check over.

05 Mar 2013 21:43:17
wolves win man united lose heaven for me, I will be able to sleep soundly tonight. well done dean saunders, keep it up.

05 Mar 2013 21:43:04
Well done lads its about bloody time too. To be honest thought teams was all wrong and thought we had no way of winning. But credit to you wolves you deserve it. Still stand by my recent coments though, karl henry you are useless and need to hang your boots up.

UP THE WOLVES / I hope

Wolves till I die!!

05 mar 2013 21:38:13
a well deserved win at last! c o why w!

05 Mar 2013 21:21:16
I'm having the weirdest dream - beating millwall 2-0. As if!

05 Mar 2013 19:18:10
I have just seen tonights teamsheet. I honestly don't know what to say.

I've been clinging on to a hope that we could still pull through this.

Those hopes have now vanished.

Sack him if we lose

Say well done! we won!

Wow. I stand corrected. Ward assist?Crikey. I still don't know what to say, albeit for entirely different reasons. wowser

Well wrong then

Heh heh. I had a feeling Wardy was going to do something pivotal. Not a goal but the next best thing.

05 Mar 2013 19:12:25
Im getting worried now because DS as dropped robinson and siggy and they are doing a great job so far.

If we lose tonight and DS needs sacking because his dropping the wrong players and chopping and changing to much.
Its too late in the season to do that.

Get KH out

05 Mar 2013 19:03:21
I predicted possible relegation trouble this season and was laughed at. Well here is a bolder forecast. WE WILL WIN TONIGHT, stop laughing, it's true Time of post 19. 03 hours.
GET MOXEY OUT.

Told ya.
GET MOXEY OUT.

Ok - well done. Can you now give me six numbers for the lottery on saturday and when I win I promise to buy the club! Thank you very kindly.

Nobody likes a big head but i'm good ain't I.
GET MOXEY OUT.

So what's the score against forest?

05 Mar 2013 17:09:46
Does anyone know if the game tonight is being fully covered anwhere on digital radio? It's obviously not going to be on SS.

I'm laid up with man flu, so feeling an evening on the sofa with the Manchester United Real game on telly, with the commentary of us playing some club in london who no-one likes on the radio.

Is man flu your exotic lover then? :)

05 Mar 2013 17:08:11
I think ward deserves a chance further forward and let's be honest he can't be any worse than hunt the other night and ward gives the team a good balance and frees up our most dangerous player sako so my team I stated earlier on would be my choice maybe you could swap Ohara for doumbia

05 Mar 2013 15:16:16
Backary sako! backary sako wooah backary sako wooah! common me babies!

05 Mar 2013 14:50:36
I can only recall
It's just like watching brazil. (sarcasm)
We're going to Shrewsbury (sarcasm)
You only scored one how rubbish must you be you only scored one (sarcasm)
And cheering when he went off.

"Let's pretend we scored a goal"
"We lose every week"
"Sign him up" (when they missed chances)

05 Mar 2013 14:24:08
£5 on wolves to win 2-0 tonight. SEB to fall over his own feet and misguide a ball into a milwall net!

Frankie

You can't have both.

I think there will be goals. We might get 2-2 or something. But I can't see us winning.

You've got to admit, I called it good there^^

Frankie

Yay! A win! Still in deep doggy does but that has lifted everyone!

Mate that's a good shout ;) apparently he ment to fall over though with his over head kick

How much you win?

Hats off to you Frankie. I congratulate you.

06 Mar 2013 14:02:55
Slightly gutted, I got back late and tried to put it on the app, but the United v Real game must have overloaded the server because I couldn't log on. Nevermind! Still won on the Spurs v Arsenal 2-1 at the weekend.

Frankie

I just read on the tv gossip page that frimpong is a free transfer at the end of the season! WHEN we stay up we should give it a go, I'm not sure but I don't think he plays week in week out at Fulham? So may as well

Really?. even though fulham have already said they'd like him on loan again next season?

05 Mar 2013 12:27:57
So Deano, who said at first the players were good enough to survive is now saying he needs another two or three loan signings having already made two. Meanwhile Morgan is quoted/ rumoured to be saying no more. O. K. who is going to quit first as these two positions are clearly not compatible. My guess is neither as we are not dealing with men of conviction, my hope is both and fast.

05 Mar 2013 12:18:04
My hearts been gold and black for 15 years now and it will never change. what ever happens to me beloved wolves I shall support and roar them on even in current surcamstances through good times and bad times. us fans don't always like what owners or managers decisions they make but that's life that's football. if any of you on here are a true supporter of me beloved wolves yould be the same way. us fans sat or standing in the grounds home or away need to shout sing clap cheer with so much fire in our bellys that the opposition and there fans don't know what's hit them. throughdarknesscomethlight

05 Mar 2013 12:03:25
For the first time EVER I would rather watch Man U v real on tv then listen to wolves on the radio.

That's how bad its got for me!

Mills wolf.

Out of darkness cometh. Yeah right!

Thats what out of the darkness means. darkness.
You want to become a Man U or any Foreign club supporter then go ahead. Shows your lack of character.

Plastic fan!

05 Mar 2013 11:09:20
Just reading what Deano said about 3 wins on the bounce.

A couple of weeks ago didn't he say he thought we could get 9 points from Derby, Barnsley & Cardif. we got 1

More to the point Undercover any updates on the transfer front, given that insider's and estateagent's sails seem fresh out of wind? wolfshead

05 Mar 2013 10:52:51
I thought this was a well run club?
Well not according to the papers today.
I have been saying it for years that the two at the top are ruining this club and don't know nothing about football.
Morgan wants to go, he just can't find a buyer yet, that's why he publicly made sure it got out to the press.
Oh and I bet he don't sell for £10.
Times nearly up.

More like 90 million ;D

05 Mar 2013 09:42:41
This isn't a rumour, this is simply me saying. if we were getting someone in. they'd be in by now! It isn't happening, the squad we have is the one that will have to try their best to get us out of this mess. With the service our strikers have been getting. it's no mystery why we can't sign one on loan.

05 Mar 2013 08:38:13
"If we can win two games on the trot, we'll be out of where we are and looking at another couple of wins, a few draws and we'll be alright. " DS

Two pivotal words:

If - yes, if. After 14 games without a win, it's a big if.

'll - short for "will" I presume. Conveys certainty. Do your maths, Deano. It may take even more than that to stay in this division. The teams around us can also win 4 times and draw a few, and indeed have been.

Got to agree deano talks some rubbish, he must think the fans are thick, hasn't won a game yet, needs to pull is finger out, and what if we lose tonight deano, and bottom clubs win, will we still be alright how many will we have to win then, its time to attack be positive we need the points, this is not the premiership, even peterborough have started getting results because they have attacked, we have started games to deap and that's been at home, and given teams to much respect.

Something on the beeb site stating that twice in 17 years, teams on 52 points have gone down. It's going to be one of those seasons. There are no whipping-boys this time around (although one team is trying hard to change that).

05 Mar 2013 08:33:10
OK, Estate Agent. I've looked oh so very hard but I really can't see anything that might resemble Jamie Mackie in Wolverhampton. So that's a house you owe me.

An me 2 siewolf

Have you even checked Asda?

05 Mar 2013 08:17:39
my team for tonight

ikeme

Doherty Johnson gorkes Robinson

siggy Davis Ohara ward

sako

Blake

4-4-1-1 IMO ward will give Robinson cover and what ever people think is better going forward and has got a balance on the left as well, sako has a free role to terrorise defences

I think we need to start playing the players in there correct poistions now starting with tonight! sorry mate but this would be my team.
Defries
Doherty, Batthe, Gorkis, Robbinson
Hammil, Davis, O'hara, Sako
Siggy, Blake or Cassidy

Oh for two good wingers. Maybe it's worth taking a chance on Ward.

At least we now have 5 or even 6 (Foley?) decent defenders.

Up front, well, take your pick. Doyle, SEB, Siggy, Cassidy. All combos have been tried. I'd go with the youngsters, but Deano probably won't.

05 Mar 2013 07:49:38
Just reading on the telegraph website that wolves face a massive wage bill when we are relegated to div. 1 as there are no wage cut clauses written into any of the player's contracts for a second successive relegation, it was never planned for, and the wage cut clause was only actionable for a drop out of the prem!. meaning players will be sold on the cheap to get them off the books! Great planning!

Yes, the chance was missed last August to reduce the squad, rather than wit till mid-season and our inevitable decline.

Hard to see Doyle or Hunt or Ward being worth what they were a year ago. But then again, M&M do seem to get some decent deals out there. Something they should do more often.

05 Mar 2013 07:30:36
well its tuesday, big game tonight, so still no new striker ffs lol,

05 Mar 2013 06:42:45
I don't get why people get angry when someone says a rumour, even if it isn't true or completely ridiculous, it still is a rumour and this is a wolves rumour page

05 Mar 2013 06:09:23
deano will sacrafice a flair player that's sako, ohara and doyle there's no one else. i'm not saying ohara or doyle I just think sunders will think those two are and maybe doumbia
