Thought David Edwards was brilliant this afternoon and good to hear the fans singing his name. Much more commitment and passion today by the entire team but sadly another game ruined by an atrocious referee.
I don't know what has happened to Dave, 12 months ago I'd have said sell him in January. He's a completely different player, he's a constant threat when he plays and I think a dip down in league 1 has helped a lot of players. Stearman and Batth have now a formidable partnership (maybe not last few games) Ikeme has had boost of confidence aswel as Golbourne, Jacobs, Henry, and the introduction of our next best academy graduate Lee Evans along with Jack price.
If I'm onest I think jacket has done am excellent job and has brought happiness back into molineux (although still has the odd group of persons who can't stop moaning). Clarke is the only signing I'm worried about. Was he a tactical buy to stop brentford, Rotherham, orient signing him and scoring for fun?? Although on Wednesday he had a touch of class and confidence on him. I think Clarke with confidence is better than sagbo. A striker, Centre-back, right-back, left-back in January.

That's a lot of players you want, Wolf, although I agree with everything you posted. Stearman and Edwards were considered wastes of space last time we were in the Championship (and Edwards wasn't injured). Edwards is a huge surprise and if Stearman can concentrate a bit more, he'll be back to the form he discovered last season. We have other CB options but the Stearman-Batth axis has served us really well and we'd be right to try and fix it than to experiment with new partnerships and perhaps never again quite getting to where we were a few weeks ago.
We shouldn't get too downhearted. Although we've lost against two teams tipped for relegation at the start of the season (and who are actually doing OK-ish) we've got points from every other game and we're still in the pack chasing promotion. I'd have settled for that at the start of the season. But if we don't win any of the next 3 games I'd be getting worried.
