I cleaned my car this afternoon to try and forget about football. The hose I washed it off with is knackered.
Do I carry on cleaning it with the knackered hose or get a new one.
If getting a new one, do I get cheap and nasty and end up with the same problem or get a quality one that will serve me for a long time.
Good job Moxey doesn't control my budget.

Fine words from Mr Morgan, I hope he really has learnt something, and has a plan which commences now! Words must be backed up by swift tough action. We need a management team working with the new team now so they are up and running as a hungry unit in August. That means a new CEO, a new manager, a fire sale, and then we may just believe. Taking time and dabbling is not an option.

I think the brief statement from Morgan is good glad to see he takes fault and blame aswell and he has said we will be moving players on and maybe should have moved more on sooner. Also states we will be using more academy players next year which we all want to see! Whilst saying funds will be made available if all this is stuck to I think next year will be a massive turn around get rid of drift wood who all have a losing mentality and re build with are youngsters who are doing well in the elite league
Sounds like moxey wrote it and probably to get season ticket sales up. Don't mean to be negative but we know Morgan and Moxey are liars interested only in money.

Time for a clear out, from top to bottom Saunders needs to go, his selection is outrageous to league influencial players on the bench not to mention the team performance today was dreadful out classed in every aspect. O'Hara has hopefully played his last Wolves game along with Johnson, Gorkss, Ward, Doyle, Henry. More players should follow those out the door to the likes of Jonsson, Berra, Foley and any other underperforming player from this season. Hope we can cling on to Sako, Sigurdarson and the youngsters that made a break through this season, and built the team around that nucleus of players with new young and hungry players who will show spirit, passion and fight for a cause. I reckon Davis could play a really big role he needs to be our Bridcutt who has been fantastic for Brighton sat in front of the back four and play through him. If Brentford fail to gain promotion try and get Uwe Rosler, possibly Edgar Davids took Barnet to the last game when they seemed dead and buried young up coming boss. Players to sign possibly Britt Assombalonga depending on Watford position, Tom Pope league 2 top scorer, Nakhi Wells, Myrie-Williams from Port Vale, Brad Inman from Newcatle did well this season at Crewe, Will Grigg got goals in league 1 and other top performers from league 1 and 2.

I wouldn't put it as bluntly as that but, having just witnessed another clueless performance by our side, I have to agree. There's no shape to the team, no drive or cutting edge and we are hopeless at the back. We gave away two sloppy goals and never looked like scoring. Clearly, many of the players are thinking about new clubs and are not really playing for the shirt but, even so, a half decent manager could have set up the side to defend adequately and to pressurise the opposition in attack. We only came alive half way through the second half, by which time it was too late. Then, JOH gesticulated at the fans and because of the inevitable response, the team fell apart. I would embrace relegation if I were certain that the mountain of problems that have bedevilled this club for the last three seasons would be addressed. I fear that we will be fobbed off with soothing words and that next season will see us with the same owner, CEO, coaching staff and a good deal of deadwood. Of today's team I would only retain Hunt and Sigurdarson, the only two players who showed spirit. Today, Siggy on his own almost turned the game round with his pace, penetration and commitment. He'll tear Division I defences apart.

Why not put it that bluntly! That's exactly what this club needs! Straight talking with no lip service! Saunders wants f"*king off! Rabbit in the headlights and this job is a million times too big for him! I'm not for sacking managers and I'm a great believer in continuity and giving managers a chance! But I honestly think if we'd stuck with Solbaken we wouldn't be in Div 1 next season! If only M&M had the nuts to see it through! If only.

Saunders has just announced that twenty minutes ago he started rebuilding wolves. That sounds about right because, for me, he's not had much effect in the 4 months before that.

Surely some/most/all of the management has to go to allow us to progress. Come out & tell us what's going to happen. don't leave it till August.
Let's hope he was hanging 'For sale' signs round their necks as they got on the bus. Onwards and upwards!
Morgan says he will rebuild but hope he realises that if Saunders stays the guy is going to need a DoF. Let's get something right next season shall we guys?

Statement from Morgan on Wolves Website - almost heard Land of Hope and Glory playing in the background as I was reading it. Probably wrote it weeks ago too! Promised to spend - remember that everyone. Hope it's the last time we see some of this season's no-hopers in Wolves shirts. Feeling gutted but glad the false hope is over, now let's look forward and re-build to get us back where we belong asap. We are Wolves!

I don't want to blame Downo but I really think he is useless. He is a nice bloke but he is blatantly not good enough. Our club needs changing. That's obvious. Get a new cheif exec. Somebody has to take the blame and if Morgan is staying getting the fans back onside by sacking Jez will go towards that. We need a director of Football. 3 choices. Ray Wilkins/Neil Warnock/Kenny Dalgish. We need a football philosophy like a swansea or a brighton. 3 young managerial choices. Karl Robinson/Graeme Jones/Jackie McNamara. That is what I call a plan. Lol but we have shown we are useless at that.

Get your facts right-Ronnie Allen was not there in 1963-you may mean Stan Cullis who was sacked in 1964-if you mean that debacle-then you are spot on.
Even though he was an ex-WBA player, Ronnie Allen was a good manager of WW.

Mosey will not be sacked so bring in a director of football. I would like graham Taylor but unlikely.
Sack Saunders he has no idea. Plenty of managers about. I would go for phil Neville as player manager as long as he had a good assistant. Others to consider, warlock, coyle, Keane. darren ferguson.
Then clear out the players let any of them go and start again, not be of them has the clubs interests at heart so shift them out.

Of course, the players have to take their share of the blame but having watched Saunders's teams perform so dismally, it is patently obvious that he is not up to the job. With the players at our disposal he should be able to set up a team that can defend resolutely, control the midfield and offer a threat going forward. Only Hunt and Siggy showed any invention and determination today.

As bad as it is going down I for one am looking forward to it. finaly they will have to get rid of the dross all the overpaid players that are just turning up for there pay cheque each week can't wait to see a fiew more of the youngsters get there chance. hopefully also a manager that wants to play propper football not just hoof and run
I hope so too but I am not holding my breath, given the track record of SM and JM.

We will see players who WANT & BELIEVE they make Wolves better & stronger to go: 1-championship - Epl competitive.
Of course not their agents are already neg contracts out there - look at Hull - they badly need an over paid (pudding) in the midfield.
Wish Cardiff & Hull well in EPL - both will struggle - as we did. I'm afraid we are witnessing the death of Professional soccer in any League in the UK. Nice idea to screen Championship soccer more often next year. it might get - Moxey out of his chair and to understand fans pure desire.

Agreed. I have just come back after an evening's drinking with a mate who watched the game with me and we are absolutely pissed off with the way the club is being run. So, I am supporting all the posts which demand root and branch change.

i hate to gloat as a wolves fan I told everyone on here 2 months ago I could tell we would go down but know everyone keeps saying we are fine! obviously the fans are as poor and deluded as saunders and the players! my lad players under 14 level-they pass and move 10 times better plus spirit is high!they were bottom but in last 8 games won 6 drawn 2 now middle table! that's how you do it! no more wasting time over wolves-im severing all my ties as of now! goodbye and i'm much happier now :)

My mate and I couldn't understand Deano's selection when it was announced at the Amex Stadium. George? His first game back after a serious injury. No Hunt, Siggy, Robinson or Batth. What was Saunders thinking of? It seemed as though he had accepted relegation and was merely going through the motions.
