We can still sign their players but they won't be allowed to take Ward, Johnson and O'Hara from us. Even in exchange for Xabi, Iniesta and Messi.

Well I don't think Barcelona could afford O'Hara's wages plus ward's and johnson's and I don't think Messi is any better than Leon Clarke the goal wonder neither is Iniesta better than David Davis

Latest bid for Maguire turned down reputedly 1.2m with add ons based on appearances up to 1.5m. Wonder how high we will go, I suspect that they are looking for over 2m. I think 2m would be my suggested limit.

We've put in a £2 mill take it or leave it today. Although Sheffield United came out with a statement yesterday saying he's not for sale.

Moneywise I don't think we're that far off, victory v. Tend to agree with you re the valuation of £2m +-, and if we're that close let's not spoil the ship. Leeds nicked us for Luke Murphy last year, so here's hoping we get our man. wolfshead.
