People make mistakes that why they put rubbers on the end of pencils! The 2 M's have made mistakes for 2 seasons, let's hope they learn from them because they ain't going nowhere!

And they ain't going to listen to any protests either!

EBW

Our trouble is that instead of a rubber we have a piece of dog **** on the end of our pencil. Every time they try to correct one of their howling mistakes it just makes it even worse! Time for a new pencil!

All this debate about who has invested and where the money has gone is futile. At the end of the day Morgan was given the club for £10 with a commitment of £30M investment, he is smart, he will have fulfilled his commitment but it will have been an investment to his advantage more than the clubs. He is running the club as his business, in other words for his financial advantage, what's good for him is good for the club. I've seen it before where self interest is the businesses advantage. So Wolves financial state will be protected but the fans interest won't it will be seconded to that of "business" until it starts to hurt Morgan, then things will change. This means strangling the income that in turn means not supporting the club. Can the fans do this, hurt Morgan in his pocket and force him to see the club in a different business sense?

A football club is a business! why shouldn't he run it as a business? the only people that dontbuy football clubs for financial gain are the chelsea and Manchester City s of this world!

get real you petty waste!

wolves forever

Hopefully with all the constraints that will soon come in on the financial state of clubs we again will be great as we are a good run club. the likes of liverpool, qpr, man city, etc etc are all in big debt. I think the only thing stopping the FA at the moment is the big clubs that are in a financial mess.

Of course a football club is a business and should be run as such BUT sports clubs are the only businesses where success is not judged solely by the profit and loss account but by what happens on the field.

People seem to think that Morgan sacked McCarthy with no idea on who he was going to appoint next. He's really not stupid. I think he probably had a verbal agreement with Curbishley before sacking MM, which Curbishley then went back on. Admittedly the situation looked messy from the outside but we don't know the full facts. I think, judging by what is said on here the fans just need to be more positive and less moany. Trust me, this time next season we'll be flying high in the table, yes the Championship table (clarification needed for those negative fans who can't see through a bad run of results), then all you moaners will be eating humble pie. You would be deluded to have 100% expected us to have got promoted automatically this season. Not many do it and let's face it, you don't stand a chance with the poor team morale and confidence, caused by are overly negative fans. Up the Wolves.

Hertfordshire Wolf

The most stupid post I have ever seen on here. Get real, we are being taken for a ride and people like you can't see it. You keep on clapping and believing everything they tell you.
People didn't expect an automatic route back to the top flight but neither did they expect,
1. SS gone in 6 months
2. The transfer fees for Fletch, Jarvo Kights to also disappear.
3. To be 1 place above the drop zone.
Get some back bone.

Sorry not the most stupid look on the rumours page we are signing David Alaba

You have no idea. The money you get for TV and all that commercial stuff is significantly less in the Championship than in the Prem. How much do you expect us to spend? We sold Fletcher for £14 million max, Jarvis for about £11 million and Kightly for around £3 million (£28 million overall). Then we signed Sako for £3 million (quality signing), Doumbia for £3 million, Pezsko on a loan to buy for about £500,000 if we want him, Boukari for £3 million and finally Sigudarson for about £2.5 million (about £12 million pounds overall). With the number of players in our squad, you really can't expect Morgan to be spending any more than that, especially when there aren't many signs of an instant return and the money spent on the stand. Then, on to Morgan; yes he may be trying to make money out of wolves, but what businessman wouldn't? (You may say Sir Jack Hayward, but let's not forget Morgan didn't have anything to do with Wolverhampton until taking over Wolves. ) Fans seem to think that it would be in his interests to get us relegated to league one and beyond. That's bs! Why would he want that. let's face it he's only really gunna make mega money if he sells us on in the prem, in a stable state. I don't know why that was 'the most stupid post you've ever seen on here'. Why do people think that Morgan's on some kind of Mi6 mission to get us into the Blue Square Premier Legue? Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the only ones talking some sense. Some people's expectations are way, way too high! Up the Wolves

Hertfordshire Wolf

Agree Morgan isn't stupid but that doesn't translate to Wolves turning the season around.

The Curbs situation was about one party wanting a short term deal (to end of season) and the other wantng a long term deal. Meantime, SS wasn't available till July 1.

I really don't know how anyone can fail to see just how precarious our situation is just now. We are simply not winning games.

I think that we should use the leeds game to tell morgan and moxey what we think! Support dean and the team to the full but chant where's the money gone! at the start half time and the end of the game. Newportwolf

I think we seem to forget its morgans club he owns it so he can really do what he likes with it I know its not what we want to here but those are the facts

He doesn't own the club. he has lost ownership in a share issue that went wrong. we are now owned by the bridgemere group and if you don't believe it look on their website. that's where all our moneys gone. morgan out now.

Bridgemere Group is Morgan's company. He is chairman or Bridgemere and chairman of Wolves. Nothing suspicious about that.

morning ed, hope you are feeling better, well another week I wonder what will happen this week, and iff morgan, and moxey, will come out and say sothing, they must be getting feedback from the internet and these protests for saturday? jason wolves for life {Ed011's Note - Doubt those two will saying anything new, nothing everyone else has already said 100 times this season.

All this bull about the club being run on its awn finances is dross, Morgan has a contract saying he must invest 30m, so he must invest It or sell

He has mate, just invested it where it only benefits him, not where it should of been. he's shrewd ill give him that.

OMG some people. How long has Morgan owned this club? since 2007. That £30m was invested some time ago. However SM was prudent with his £30m and put it (or a proportion of it) into parts of the club which would generate the most money i. e the stadium. Which means the club is more self sufficient. Which is also a good job because if rumours are to be believed he's not in a fit enough financial state to actually do anything should we go into the RED. Even in cases when you can say, well he must of helped finance a deal for a certain player/s, it looks like he has come out on top. Especially when you look at the price we paid for Jarvis and the price we sold him for.

The big question is. Is SM a good chairman? I believe in some ways yes he is. But in most cases I say no he's not a good chairman. Reason being his bad choices seem to over power his good choices. Oh and not being prepared to put us in debt for our long term benefit.

TDW

Not being in debt is a good thing.

Hi. A Leicester fan here in peace. reading some of the posts on here it's understandable (with results not going your way just now) that there are a few fans! that are keen to see DS moved on, (although, personally, I could'nt understand why MM was allowed to leave but then, i'm not their every week!) but DS, Why?. the man needs a little time to get things moving, it can't be done overnight. I can look you in the eye and tell you honestly that you played the best football we've seen from an away team when you came to the KP on Thurs evening, how the hell you left empty handed i'll never know, we usually play fast, free flowing attacking football at home and you only allowed us out of the stops now and again, DS has clearly got a plan and some of the footy you played was a delight to watch, the only thing that I could see that was missing was a quality finisher, but then, SEB is that is'nt he, he just had an off night, all strikers go through it!. Sako looks a blinding player, that shot for your goal was a beaut, a killer all the way,. all BS aside, with DS having you play that kind of football it won't be long before the results start coming, next season could be your time,. but, take it from me (as a LCFC supporter I know) continually changing managers before they've had time to settle in is debilitating for the club AND it's support, it does'nt do any good at all. all the best for the rest of the season!

Tazzyboy

A top post from a top supporter of his club!

foxes are lucky to have level headed fans like you.

only trouble is, it runs much deaper then DS mate, the people in charge here have no ambition and no rapor with us fans, it doesn't mater how well Saunders get us playing, with Morgan and moxey here its like being in the 100 metre hurdles but being tied to someone else like in the three legged race, doesn't matter how good you get at the three legged race, you'll NEVER jump them hurdles

mills wolf - good luck this year buddy.

Thanks Tazzyboy. That was a fantastic post. I agree, if we play like we did in the second half against you guys, we'll be fine.

We have to stick to playing 4-2-3-1- the first time DS has played this so far- and we needed to get a goalscorer in that non-existent window however.

SEB could be that goalscorer, but he needs to stop eating for a month first, and our board won't issue funds to buy another.

More importantly, we needed to invest in defenders. Which we didn't. Down to one recognised right-back and one striker who thinks he can play a bit as a left back.

There is a lot wrong at Mol at the moment

It takes a fox to tell it as it is - thanks! Doyle is our best lone striker as he proved time and time again in the prem. Time he reprised the role.

i think the future of our once great club will be thrown in greater turmoil at the end of the season whether we are relegated or not steve morgan will put the club up for sale every thing going on at the moment indicates to me that morgan wants out everything is kept hidden nothing is out in the open

From what I've heard its not his to sell. he lost ownership in a share issue that went wrong and we are now owned by the Brigemere group, it says they own us on their website.

04 Feb 2013 09:28:47
what I find mystifying is among loads of things at wolves is we have actually appointed a recruitment expert yet in the window were only assocated with over the hill loanees and throughout the window despite the position were in we only recruited one young player for the future my opinion is deano is only a coach who will have to work with who he is given what a mess!
