OGS and Paul Ince confirmed in the mail as top of SM short list to REPLACE tc doesn't say when. Hope the last bit is at least true

Fair cop, that's what the Mail is saying. OGS - OMG. Incey, hasn't really set the managerial world alight has he. If true, and I say if, it would confirm that TC's stint will be just that, brief and to the point (so far anyway).

Wouldn't get hopes up over OGS he has a young family settled in Norway and more than enough money. We would be just a stepping stone (which I don't mind) does he need the hassle. Info that comes out like this normally doesn't lead to much probably just sounding him out or has SM learnt nothing from the Curbishley/Bruce/Smith debacle

Incey would be a more realistic target. His managerial record of late has been poor but chances are he'd bring in Alex Rae as number 2. Just something about those two on the touchline at Molineux stirs up a bit of fight in me!

Blackburn sacked Ince in 2008. Has Ince improved in 4 years? Does being an ex-Wolf help? Can't see how. We're not the club he is mostly associated with.

Do not support wolves ,but i would not want
Paul Ince within 100 miles of the club, anyone who calls himself "the guvnor" is
a figment of his own imagination, and his own managerial record is abysmal. better off with connor .

What a footballer though an absolute animal!

I wanted ince before mick when he played for wolves he was a credit to the shirt with ince at wolves it was 100 pc i

You can all watch Notts County after next season if the "guvnor" gets the job, tripe.

I reckon, and I'll probably get called insane, we should try and enticed Hope Powell to be our next manager. Hear me out. We are in the mire and need a complete change, we're not going to attract the class of manager we thought when Mick was sacked and if we go down, it will only lower the calibre. Hope as does very well with england over a long period and will be only a matter of time before a female manager comes into the leagues. Why not give her a go, complete new start. Fresh approach, other ideas. Why not be trendsetters, people already see us as a laughing stock so what have we got to loose? We'd get our reputation back at least. I'm sure it will split opinions but what do you think?

I think u support the Baggies don't post on here again and seek some medical help. Wolves till I die

I can assure you I am a wolves fan, whats wrong with trying something different? As for telling me not to post again, grow up.

Get a bloody grip kid, keep away from the papers,it makes us look desperate,I don't care what the papers say about sexism, lack of female managers in football,it won't work, what a ridiculous notion! Karen Brady is a loose cannon and should keep quiet, men in a team, will never take a woman seriously, that's not being sexist.........It's nature.

Hi all Wolves fans, I'm a Forest fan and would just like to say thank you for Guedierra, he is a class act in the championship, and with all due respect I can't understand how he could not get in your team ? Also heard that if (when) you go down you are lining up our ex boss -Billy Davies. Trust me you could do a lot worse

If a wolves fan was incharge of wolves he wouldn't have gone we know he's good shame the donkeys at the top don't think the same

Davies can jog on one word useless

Hi Forest fan here again, Billy Davies is class if the board had backed him at Forest we would be in the premiership now. He got us to 2 play offs on the trot and as soon as he leaves ( sorry sacked for no reason ) we are fighting relegation....mmmm more than a coincidence

To right about Guedierra. I went on your site when he was loaned and told you what a good player you had got. How did big George do? He gives everything but falls short at top level. I hope whoever takes over hear watches tapes of what AG has done at your place and keeps him and more importantly plays him. I said a long time ago he is our best central midfielder.

His goal against Leeds was one of the goals of the season....he hit it from a good 35 yrds and the ball was still going up when it hit the net !! Please sell him to Forest, you can have McGodrick, Derbyshire, Harewood Greening and Boateng....5 players for price of 1 what do ya say ?

As a Wolves fan i am the one laughing at every other club, yes we are coming down but how many teams can boast a profit as a football club. Leeds Pompey Sothampton already been in administration.
just you wait till, Wigan, Everton, Bolton, Villa, Man City, Chelsea, QPR all fold due to making millions of losses each year.
The last laugh will be on us may take 2 or even 20 Years but least we can hold our heads high and say we will have a football club in 20 years time.

Don't know how far I'd push the profit argument in the current circumstances. I'm fairly underwhelmed at the overall level of management at the top of our club and my guess is finances won't be that smart either.

Let's see how much of our outlay we will recoup on say Doyle, Fletcher, O'Hara, Johnson, Hunt. Anything up to £27m paid out for that little lot depending on which undisclosed value you choose. As I say, interesting to see how much we will get back.

We really do need to get our whatsit together, fast.

If I wanted a successful business I would follow Richard Branson. I take your point about still having a club in 20 years but at this rate we could end up like we did in the early/mid eighties. You have to speculate to achieve success, surely that's what we all want.
Don't think we are to big to struggle in the championship. Look at what has happened to the Sheffield clubs. Another relegation would see at least 10 to 12 thousand staying away. Then see what happens to your profit.

Have been following the market on betfair and TC is overwhelming favourite to keep the job. Betfair are rarely wrong, poor Wolves. I hoped Billy Davies would be approached, he would be my choice

I hope that bet fair are wrong TC as showed he as no flair for management.but there is a job going directing traffic on wolvo ring road should be right up is street

Bet fair also put TC at 100/1 to get the job in the first place. kind of poo poo's your thoery?

If this comes true i hope every true fan demands their season ticket money back evan stupid happy clapers would not exept tc as manager but maybe they would

Betfair has Wolves 10/1 against relegation at the start of the season. Hmmmm.

TC hardly featured in the betting when MM was sacked. Hmmmmmm.

The Betfair market is still open for the next Wolve manager following MM. TC has to be in the post for 10 games before the market is closed. This market does not reflect who is most likely to be in charge come the start of the next season.

I for one do not want wolves coming back into the premiership unless we have serious investment in players

I do not want to watch this negative survival crap anymore

Make no mistake swansea and norwich will be struggling next year... they have performed well in the first year as most sides do, the second year will bring them down to earth because they simply cannot compete financially

At the moment we cannot compete financially and therefore on the pitch, sad to say but we are a championship club at the moment

looking forward to seeing some wins at home next season

My thinking too had this with sir jack now morgan i will have a party when we win again at this rate i will be 100 lol

Its not just investment we'll need, you're missing a key component that both Swansea and Norwich have that we do not - a top class manager.

Top manager with little investment in quality players = championship

In answer to post top manager who would that be surely not mick

how do people feel about di canio as manager-great passion has loads of fights with his players and still gets the wins! some of our players need a kick up the backside and the the odd smack!!!! we need that type of passion back.

I would sooner have Chris Hughton with ray Wilkins as first team coach. a young manager with experience in the Prem and the championship. Wilkins has coached top international players at Chelsea has anyone noticed how Chelsea have declined since he left ?

Do canio is a loose cannon - far too volatile for us!

Roy Evans & Ray wilkins
