Wolves need to get Josh Morris from Scunthorpe!

03 May 2017 14:17:48
Hi guys,
I've just had a thought after looking at Newsnow.
Are we going to ignore Elthans Landell after his performance for Sheffield Utd, really didn't know why we loaned him out would be a good centre back to pair with someone, 5 goals 2 assists, why not a shout.

03 May 2017 15:28:54
I think landell would develop very well alongside Williamson tbh.

03 May 2017 15:56:32
Interesting thought Rated. Worth trying that pairing, especially if we don't keep Stearman.

04 May 2017 14:13:12
EEL should also move on - sell him to the Blades. Not good enough IMO, need better!

03 May 2017 11:57:10
Does anyone know when pre season is announced? I've seen the tournament at Nuneaton but where are the 1st team going?

I've seen rumours of Germany but want these confirmed so I can work out whether to go pre-season or book a holiday to Asia.

03 May 2017 10:15:45
Check out the video on the value of are current team some quite surprising it's on Wolves rumours now or Birmingham mail I think 45mil estimated value👍.

03 May 2017 11:02:10
Well, according to that, we'll be making a big loss on Costa! They are exceptionally generous on Saville though giving him any sort of a value.

03 May 2017 20:25:17
Except for a few of our players stattowolf, I would have a sale on our players and sell them for 2 for 1, and the way Lambert is performing at home I would give him away, when are we going to stop these silly mistakes we keep makeing is beyond me.

03 May 2017 08:24:06
Here's a question for you all. Would you work for a company that employed you to make changes but didn't give you the time to make the changes required?

03 May 2017 09:33:25
If the hours were good and it paid well, yes.

03 May 2017 09:48:11
Jas get out of lamberts bed! Or are u Lambert?

03 May 2017 10:08:53
PT, you keep saying you want Lambert out but you never say who should replace him apart from Marco Silva who turned us down. Do you not think that part of the problem is that every time we change manager, the new man will want to assess the dross that is already here thereby not using the transfer window. It's a never ending cycle. We know the current players are not good enough. Lambert has said that himself so let him have the summer to change the squad and if it don't work then yes show him the door. You seem to have the Massimo Cellino approach to football ie give the manager a week to sort things out. I know this sounds bad but for the vast majority I hope that Lambert stays and proves that he knows what he's doing but a small part of me wants Fosun to get rid of him just so that your wishes come true and the lack of continuity sees us fail.

03 May 2017 10:34:51
Were failin now Jas, just hopin there's truth in the Galardo rumour? He was down as Wolves manager for 2 hours yesterday on wiki? Maybe someone jumped the gun and didn't realise it' won't be official till after the Preston game. If he's half as good as Spurs boss that will do me. I'm sorry to say it but there isn't a top quality British manager as the Championship and Premiership proves.

{Ed001's Note - wiki is meaningless, it could have been someone changing it for a laugh. They have no insight or sources to pull stories from mate.}

03 May 2017 11:19:30
isn't Chris houghton English?

03 May 2017 11:36:43
Possibly Ed, but know one knows for def? No smoke without fire? Chris Houghton done a great but let's see what happens in Prem. And no disrespect to British managers but u only have to look at the Top 6 positions. Possibly the best British manager is Pullis.

{Ed001's Note - there are lots of occasions where there is smoke and no fire. It is most likely the person posting up the rumour changed wiki, as has happened a thousand times before.}

03 May 2017 11:44:16
I think he's Northern Irish.

03 May 2017 11:55:37
He's Welsh! That's British Clive as is Northern Irish! Geography not your subject then? Tryin to be smart! Your that sharp you'd better be careful u don't cut yourself! DOH!

03 May 2017 12:00:33
Chris Hughton was born in England but played for Republic of Ireland.

03 May 2017 12:51:36
PT, you're funny. You keep saying we need a manager with experience of this league and level and now back Gallardo who has neither of these. I know you've said if he's linked to big clubs then that's good enough for you so how about Zola as manager. Would he do considering he's been linked with Chelsea, Juventus and Inter Milan recently?

03 May 2017 13:15:25
PT, who was the last manager you actually backed?

03 May 2017 13:57:58
Jas I'm glad I amuse u 👍 As far as Zola goes great footballer but lacks something as far as management goes. But surely Jas after watchin this seasons dire excuse for football u can't want Lambert here in August? I 100% believe Fosun will remove him and put a foreign manager in charge and allow him to bring his backroom team in and players! For a conglomerate like Fosun, Wolverhampton Wanderers need to be up there and they cannot have another dire season like this!

03 May 2017 14:43:37
I backed McCarthy till after the Blackburn game last game of the season when we just about survived, he should of been finished then. I backed Jackett for our promotion season then most of the next when we got 78 points, but I was so Dissapointed with his tactics at home to Ipswich when we drew 1-1, it was so negative and I looked upon that as the game turned me against him. This guy now didn't even bring the new manager bounce with him and when he failed to bring a striker in Jan and also didn't get a point in Feb I realised he was a loser and I've been proved right.

03 May 2017 15:03:46
PT. I do want Lambert to stay and be given the chance to make the changes required. Let's not forget that the 2 players he signed have actually done a good job.

03 May 2017 15:27:26
Average job Jas, your ambition for this club is obviously lower than mine. I really hope Fosun have my ambitions as they've def got the capital to bring it to fruition.

03 May 2017 15:45:22
My ambition for the club is promotion to the Premier League and ultimately to win the league and then the Champions league however the facts prove that constantly changing you manager hinders progress. Unless you can show otherwise.

03 May 2017 16:11:04
The best we can hope for long term is to bobble around mid-Premier like WBA and Stoke. Rare for a team to break into the top third from nowhere. Everton have been trying it for decades. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

Would people here be happy loitering around 15th in the Premier? I bet we'll be seeing calls for the manager to go if we were there. In fact we did when we were, and he went.

03 May 2017 17:31:17
PT- let's suppose we get a new manager appointed, how long would he have your backing if he failed to have the team in the top three within a few matches?

03 May 2017 17:56:47
Got to be Top 6 at Christmas, then push on in Jan.

03 May 2017 23:42:49
Would you allow the new manager a transfer window to bring players in or do they need to be able to work with what's already here?

04 May 2017 06:31:41
You'd get him in after Preston then he's got the July window.

04 May 2017 07:23:30
So he'd have longer than Lambert got? Interesting. Any reasoning behind this. What if we were 9th come January 1 point off the play offs. Would you make the change?

04 May 2017 08:08:13
What if the new manager was appointed on Monday morning, the players go off for their break and return for pre season. The new manager hasn't brought any players over the intervening 2 months as most have been away and decides that he wants to assess the current squad but won't know what they're capable of in match day conditions until the season starts in August only to find that he too can't motivate the squad but now he does not have the time to bring in the vast quantity of players needed and has wasted a transfer window. Would you still back him? Or would you just let the current regime do what they need to do as they've already highlighted where we need to strengthen and identified the players needed.

04 May 2017 08:22:26
Lambert had a transfer window and failed to identify a 20 goal striker, the new gaffer I'd hope will have a lot more about him than Lambert which won't be difficult.

04 May 2017 08:45:18
Lambert had a 4 week window where traditionally everyone is overpriced. Look at the Ben Marshall deal where Blackburn wanted £2m for a player who was out of contract in 6 months. Name a 20 goal a season striker that was available. You can't.

04 May 2017 09:01:39
Why r u worried about the price of a player? It's not your money! Jordan Rhodes.

04 May 2017 09:20:37
3 goals since moving to Sheffield Wednesday. Sam Winnall has got 2 in 13 games. Face it, there wasn't one available.

04 May 2017 09:25:51
Problem is PT that you talk passionately about everything but cannot back anything up with facts. Jordan Rhodes. I thought we were looking for players that could cut it in the Premier League not players that have plateau'd at Championship level.

04 May 2017 09:26:32
Because a striker hasn't scored a hatful at a club doesn't mean he won't elsewhere, Rhodes has been there and done it and would of been far better than what we've got!

04 May 2017 10:09:19
Jas I'm talking players to get us out this league, we will worry about Prem standard players when we look like getting there which is a million miles away with this clown in charge and this squad!

04 May 2017 11:19:07
Gotta be top 6 at Christmas? TELL THATLTO lEEDS SUPPORTERS!

04 May 2017 11:33:25
Sheffield Wednesday took Rhodes on loan and committed to buy him for £10m in the summer. He's hardly played since joining but Sheff Weds have to buy him for the agreed price as per the agreement. Most of the fans don't rate him and think he's another Ross McCormack.

04 May 2017 11:37:15
This 'Clown' as you call him hasn't had a chance to stamp his authority on the squad. What have the last 3 managers all had in common? The players. Lambert has the experience to get us out if this league.

04 May 2017 12:12:44
Jas we will have to agree to disagree were going round in circles. U think lamberts the man, I don't. Let's see what Fosun think next week. Let's hope for a successful 17/ 18 season.

04 May 2017 13:08:53
At last. Something we agree on.

04 May 2017 13:56:02
I've said this on another thread but IF Wolves are going to get rid of Lambert they should act swiftly. Slaven Bilic will probably be out of contract soon. I would be more than happy with him.
