hope the first thing kj does is get a central midfielder a paul scholes type player who we desperatly need. and I think he will bring in a captain in someone he has dealt with or admires.
That's why we bought O'Hara wasn't it?
Anyway, in L1 we might not get the kind of player you are hoping for.

Looking back, that midfield from a few years ago was loads better than we've had since. Less so the forwards of course, and that changed when we bought SEB and Iwulemo. Miller was good I suppose in a Doyle kind of way.
Oh for Cameron, Rae and Ince now.

Nice to see were playing Real Betis as our one and only home friendly. But as it will be our last friendly of pre season this seems a bizarre move. Betis finished 7th in La Liga, so there's a big possibility they could batter us! surely this would be bad for us heading into the new season.

Jacket comes over as a decent chap as did SS and DS. However I firmly believe he is not the right man. The biggest thing that sticks out on his CV is that he works with a tight budget.
So forget any money being used from the sale of Sako etc. This will vanish just like the money did from Fletch, Jarvo and Kights.
I will get behind him just like I always do with managers of the club because I know the manager isn't the problem, it's the even fatter ( after his hols) Moxey.

what is the latest with Lee Griff at Wolves. I am a hibs fan and would like him to stay with us in edinburgh.
I don't know the answer but I assume the clubs are talking. Hibs obviously can't afford to sign him at a commercial rate, but I suspect a deal cound be structured involving sell-on clauses so that when Celtic come knocking, Wolves get most of the fee.
If no deal then expect LG to go to Celtic (no other Scottish club will afford him either) or reluctantly stay at Wolves for another season.
I suppose another loan deal is a possibility, but unlikely, as then he'll be away for nothing.

It always bothers me that we only give a 12 month rolling contract, its shows to players that at any time we can have this manager sacked and at little cost to the club. We should be giving him a 5 year deal as Moxey said "Hes the outstanding candidate and Our Special One".
The very same thing bothers me too, if they had any faith in the guy they would surely give him atleast a 3yr contract,

I disagree. The task in hand is to get promoted. Then the two sides can start talking about something longer term, or go their separate ways. It also means Wolves can pay KJ more now and in bonuses, and not worry about paying him compensation if they need to get rid of him. Suits both Wolves and KJ.
Considering he was chosen over 75 others, and only gets 12 month roll over contract tells me, he must be the special one like moxey says, without the same contract he gets at chelsea. wolfy

Tread carefully here. If (big if-I can't see it happening anyhow) Morgan does decide to sell up, who do you propose is going to buy us?I really fear that if we get sold, whoever we end up with will be worse than we already have.
We'll be fine this season at least anyway. We've got the man in to lose the deadwood and our academy lads can cut it in this league
