Whatever happens, Morgan won't be as bad as Shanghai Shenhua's owner! He played HIMSELF for 45 minutes up front with Anelka in a friendly a few days ago. He threatened to move the team and stadium 300km away from Shanghai after a different game when the fans jeered him and not long ago sacked all of the coaches to try and pressure the manager into resigning.

Moxey could play centre midfield...like trying to get round Burntree island with razor wire

Put Moxey in goal then there is no way we would conceed goals as he would fill the goalmouth

Good to have you back Ed 001 it's been kinda quiet here in your absence. So Stale was a surprise, to us all in fairness, what do you think, did Morgan make the running on this one and if so, how long do you think he was considering the new man? (Longer than April 12?). {Ed001's Note - I have no idea how long he was considering him, certainly a while, he was clearly chosen, though I have no idea why. I wasn't keeping up with German football this season just gone, so I don't know what happened with him. I can only think he made a good impression, because Wolves went and got him, which says they rate him highly. Strange for a man who got his team relegated, but then Klopp had a poor record prior to joining Dortmund.}

Our fans need to give him time to develop his own team, we have no divine right to be promoted first time

Lets be honest one bad season doesn't define anybody. Stale went to FC Koln and failed to do any good. FC Koln has many problems before Stale went their. Remember Stale had several very good seasons at FC Copenhagen. I think the fact we managed to get him is very good and the fact that he wants a director of football is very good cause then we won't have to listen to moxey moaning about how hard it is to attract players.

Agreed, this will be a difficult task, not made any easier by the fact that his contract doesn't officially start till 1 July.

Nevertheless he will have to bridge the who's going - who's staying gap as well as recruiting for the team he wants to build. Not easy. Ed 001, any clues if the DoF notion has died a death? Cheers. {Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware, the DoF notion is still part of the plan, though it might not be called such, it will be someone to take over a lot of the tasks Moxey does. I am sure that will be a very popular move, getting Moxey away from the footballing side of things!}
