I would like to point out regarding the take over that there seems to a lot of mis communication. I read jez moxeys notes in the programme stating that morgan has, as he said he would, continued to support the club even whilst he look to hand over the reins and that remain an important factor as the ownership discussions continue. I seem to remember watching a news clip where morgan has said there were no dicussions taking place. so who is telling the truth?

03 Feb 2016 19:24:07
There's only Morgan and his solicitor and his trusted friends who know what's happening, I doubt anyone on this board Twitter or any other boards know! Just guess work.

03 Feb 2016 19:35:13
Morgan said they were not in FIRM talks with anyone.

03 Feb 2016 20:22:39
And one or two loose lipped friends Paul ha.

03 Feb 2016 20:26:19
Have u bumped Into any of them Realist.

03 Feb 2016 20:42:00
I give you what I can mate, so pre stuff I can't post I know you understand that.
I now believe we will be sold, I believe that one of the first interested parties are Morgans choice and that they will have another round of talks in the coming weeks,

Morgan wants a stake in the club, that is the stumbling block.
But he's a businessman first and foremost.
Afobes sale will soften the blow.
Have a nice day yaaaalllllll.

03 Feb 2016 21:06:57
After last night, the transfer window and the season so far, I'm takin that as a positive Realist! πŸ‘ Thanku.

03 Feb 2016 21:32:18
Americans then Realist?

03 Feb 2016 21:51:15
What do you mean that the Afobe deal will soften the blow?

03 Feb 2016 21:55:17
I'd imagine Realist means Morgan's had his extra share already from the Afobe sale.

04 Feb 2016 12:34:25
Tamworth you keep letting the guy yank your chain Why?

04 Feb 2016 14:09:43
Because eventually someone on here will come up with a GENUINE RUMOUR! And maybe this is it?

04 Feb 2016 14:57:20
Realist is normally reliable so I'm quietly confident on this one.

04 Feb 2016 15:05:39
Agreed Wyatt09. We have to have something to cling to!

04 Feb 2016 15:21:18

04 Feb 2016 15:35:21
I ain't been keeping score, but upto now from what I've seen you've been as wide of the mark as the next man, anyone can come in here and say anything and people have to take it with a pinch of salt or in some cases a fistful.

04 Feb 2016 16:23:48
nice one Realist you've got my vote! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ.

03 feb 2016 16:06:42
so we wont be getting kike in the next window, he's just signed for eibar, another false dawn, just a thought on tactics why does'nt kj ask one of his mates down to give a new up and at em performance+ new views on the carp we are turning out, gary monk would be a good starting point. any thoughts anyone.

03 Feb 2016 10:14:34
For months I have said JACKETT should be sacked! Surely now is the time! I think a Pearson or Paul Cook should be brought in. If Morgan is lookin to stay and reinvest either of these would be excellent. If on the other hand he's still sellin then get Paul Ince or Warnock, whichever way Morgan goes concerning the club we def need a change of manager now! Even with this squad I'm positive any of those 4 named would get more out the players than JACKETT can! We're not going up or down so change it now and give the fans some belief as our club is speedin along into mediocracy.

03 Feb 2016 11:27:27
Paul mate, Pearson or Cooky? There is absolutely no comparison here Pearson wins hands down in this contest as he is tried and tested.

03 Feb 2016 11:43:38
K. J. as to go after that performance as not got a clue, selling, buying team selection says it all really useless cannot watch that and will not, going nowhere absolute rubbish, please can someone buy our club and get shut of the idiots who run it .
CENTRE FOREWARD are you listening. K. J. given you a clue start there, easy really when you are clever like me.

03 Feb 2016 11:47:46
Yes I agree Pearson would be better but Cooky is the cheaper option! ) JACKETT has to go!

03 Feb 2016 11:49:08
I'm surprised Kenny is still there. I don't think his job is in immediate danger, apart from anything else, Morgan doesn't want any more decisions to make, but Kenny must have had enough.

Seems like he is experimenting (read meddling) with team formations and player changes yet again. He brings in forgotten players, Rowe in this case - something that rarely has worked in the past. It's like he's bored or frustrated or both. He needs a new challenge, perhaps at Villa when they go down! Or he can stay and slog away like McCarthy at Ipswich with a chance of a playoff place in a good season. OK, if Dicko and Graham were still fit to play we'd be challenging for playoffs but equally we got Le Fondre in and now Mason too, so it's not like we're short of players proven at this level. Edwards, Henry, McDonald, Price all capable of tearing through teams at this level too. Even Coady and Van la Parra, two rather enigmatic players who look good and bad at the same time. So what's gone wrong?

Some strange decisions, especially letting Stearman and Golborne go. Two of our best players last season. Couldn't do much about Sako and Afobe I'll admit. Signings have been OK at best. Zyro should turn out well as should Williamson and hopefully Mason. But Wallace, Saville, Rowe, Byrne, Le Fondre, Ojo, Clarke. All wrong for Championship level. We're better signing a few quality players than 10 average players, occasionally dipping into loan market or youth setup when injuries prevail. Imagine if we had one more quality defender and one more quality winger. Imagine if we had Stearman and Jacobs on our books still?

Would a change in manager help? No, not straight away. This is Kenny's team and a new manager, if any good, will want to bring in their own players like Kenny did (very well) when he came in, and will want a budget beyond what Kenny appears to have. We could bring in a fixer like Pearson, Warnock or Holloway. But I would prefer a pedigree manager although even bringing in a pedigree manager doesn't always work (e. g. van Gaal, Moyes) . Curiously I think Moyes would do well at Wolves, if he could knock a zero off of his salary expectations. Rogers too. Otherwise I might look at Warburton (Rangers, Brentford) , Sherwood or even Redknapp. I think Paul Cook a bit too risky. Could be another Deano.

03 Feb 2016 13:43:11
Warburton would be my first choice, although he seems quite happy in Glasgow.

03 Feb 2016 14:06:35
All hypothetical as no one seems to want to sack him!? Steve Morgan give me a call il come and do it tonight!

03 Feb 2016 19:48:01
Last night was a comedy. But for the absolute fluke wins over the Christmas/ New Year when we were terrible but somehow managed to win games we should have lost we'd be near rock bottom by now. Jackett has no excuse, he's got some quality in the squad, yes Jordan Graham's injury has been a blow (just when we finally all saw a breath of fresh air in the squad) but there is still some quality.

His constant meddling with the squad has me baffled, Jack Price would be the first name on my team sheet every week, the numbers don't lie regarding the amount of times he's played and we've not lost. VLP looked quality when he arrived and KJ quickly had him looking like an amateur, we send him out on loan and he comes back looking like he did when he signed. That can't be a coincidence?

He plays arguably the best striker we've had for years (who has already proved that he can score at the top level) up top on his own and with terrible service for months and then we sell him at a premium. Surely someone as inept as Jackett can see that playing Afobe in that role, at home as well, is just a complete waste of time?

I'm done with it, KJ ran out of ideas a long time ago. We were really lucky to finish where we did last season, lots of teams we played just didn't turn up on the day and our 7th place flattered us big time, giving folk false hope of better things to come.

Another complete lack of ambition in the window has me done with it this season, I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than watch that crap week in week out.

It's time the fans started to vote with their money and feet, as long as money is changing hands and bums are on seats at the mol, nothing is going to change, jackett is out of his depth, he needs replacing asap, the club needs to be sold to someone who will invest in the 1st team for the NOW or Morgan needs to take it off the market, grow a pair and spend some money on a quality proven manager and players of the calibre required to get us out of the championship, Moxey and thelwell need to be sacked the whole club is having the life kicked out of it.
We fans can force the change required we just need to be strong enough to start the ball rolling by staying away until the changes start to happen.

03 Feb 2016 11:29:01
Agree 100%
So far I am not renewing come the Early Bird
Am intrigued to see what spin Moxey uses in the Ealry Bird letter.

03 Feb 2016 12:03:28
The only way is to take 100quid off as its like watchin conference at times!

03 Feb 2016 08:39:20
Last night was awful hard pushed to know which team was bottom of league. Terrible team selection same old tactics bad substitutions at the wrong time. Jackett has to go now. This squad is the one he has assembled, has he said no player comes in without his say so. As soon as it's clear we can't get relegated I'd sack him ad change the recruitment set and definitely get rid of thelwell.

"Wolves made the Trotters look a far better side than everyone else in the division seems to"

That's in the normally loyal E&S.

What's going wrong? Is it wrong to play 2 up front against the bottom club? Was Kenny being complacent playing Rowe as if it's a cup tie and the game was going to be easy anyway? Any fan knows that James Henry cuts through teams like this more than most wolves players (as he demonstrated) . We missed Edwards, who is another player teams like Bolton don't want to face. The back 4 still need sorting out. And I really want to see Price back in the team.

On a brighter note, if we're going to play 442 then these two up front might just be the biz.

03 Feb 2016 08:16:09
this morning is that the Early Bird has shot itself! In a note left it said it couldn't fulfil its dream of playing on the wing KJ wanted him flapping about in midfield. Moxey working hard on finding another but it has to be the right kind of bird at the right price. So far only finding headless chickens. πŸ˜’πŸ•ŠπŸ¦ƒπŸ“.
