With Clarke gone to Wigan could this mean rehabilitation for Doyle? If not where's the cover?

I was thinking the same on the way in to work today. Unless we recall McAlinden or Cassidy (or Clarke) we're stuffed if Dicko or Afobe is injured.
Perhaps there is a loan signing being lined up.

lets face it doyle should be able to cover any of our front men with out having to call anyone back

Doyle would be the sensible choice, and for many of us a better choice than Clarke. But Kenny would need a big change of mind to do that. He would rather play Van la Parra up front and bring in a midfielder I suspect. Which leaves possibilities for Jacobs to get back into the team.
Pyegreen wolf very good comments, if not spending then doyle good choice to what we have as experienc, could be why he as let LClarke and r.Johnson go, can now afford to keep Doyle on wages he is on till end of season

Oh I dunno. I like Doyle and maybe you are right mooreroy but it isn't what Kenny has been saying the last year or so about Doyle. But then he said Clarke was going nowhere just one day before loaning him. With no other strikers to warm the bench it's a bit of a puzzle trying to work out how Kenny is managing the team unless Doyle is back in his plans again.
