We were well on top today but could not score.I am not surprised, we rely on one player to score goals[griffiths].Another goal scorer was essential to guarantee promotion, why is it that we never seem to see what's obvious to most supporters. short term kevin philips would have done a good job for this season, and if griffiths was not firing you could bring him on, but if not him we should have got someone on loan, a bad mistake.Cassidy has not got it, doyle should be playing behind the front two, good footballer but cannot score.WE NEED ANOTHER STRIKER, GET ONE .

It's clear we're not scoring enough goals, we didn't deserve to lose yesterday but there was always a change they could bag themselves one and do us.

Doyle still looks ok but he's not got the pace to play as a striker now, he needs to play behind the strikers. We need someone who can share the work with Griffiths (who still doesn't get enough of the ball for me).

We need someone big and good with their head up top, someone like Iwelumo, passing the ball into the net on a pitch like yesterdays just isn't an option. Sorry to say but sometimes route one is the best way on poorer pitches.

More goals is a must for automatic promotion.

Got to agree with your report, now was the time to buy when we was top of league and stay there, but we keep making the same mistakes it isn't as though we havnt got the money, if griffiths does get injured then it looks like we can say goodbye to promotion because noway we should of lost that match saturday, they were there for the taking there top striker was suspended and they only had that shot at goal, should of been a great day to get a result but we all now we don't do nothing the easy way, hope we can get a proven striker in january and a leader in midfield, anything less than promotion is a failure

I know we are all nervous about whether we can maintain top two at the end of the season. Preston, Brentford and Peterborough are all going to get lots more points. But we are still a few points ahead of them, and we caught up with Orient, so something must be going right.

I don't know why we're not scoring more. Hard to imagine a scoreline with 3 goals to Wolves let alone 4 or 5, which you'd expect a top team to achieve from time to time. Playing Cassidy or Siggy with Griff doesn't seem to work. Fortunately for us, our defense is as good as we've seen for a good few years, with 5 decent players to choose from and 3 or 4 more who could be brought in when needed.

Yes, striking options are more limited. With Griff as the out and out striker, he needs service. Tempting that we should become more aggressive and play 433 (or 4321 I suppose) with both Siggy and Doyle working the ball at the front while Griff waits to pounce. That would mean two solid L/R midfielders (Henry and Jacobs?) and probably no place for Sako. Only one of McDonald and Edwards in the middle, too. That would be a team to fear, but, I suspect, not KJ's style.

Who will will sign I have no idea. But one thing is for certain we are a more attractive proposition now than at the beginning of the season when possible targets might be thinking they might spend a couple of seasons in L1. I think one of our better forwards is on loan at Shrewsbury.

One thing for sure, we're better than last season. In the second half, at least, Peterborough would have beaten us easily. They were taking points of teams when we weren't. Now we're at least a match for them.

I don't know why people expect us to bounce back up so easily. We've done well to improve on last season's team. (Or "car crash" as someone said on the other page!) The team of 2012/13 would have lost to Brentford and Preston let alone Peterborough.

Why would sako leave in Jan for a championship team, he'll be there a couple of months later with the mighty wolves - dave oldbury

The news on express and star may not be true. If it was 100% true it would have been Siggy's mouth doing the talking not his agents so its most likely not 100% true

Siggy.says he wants out in jan lack of games . bring in kev phillips, or keano 4 a few weeks

{Ed033's Note - New on the Wolves Voting Polls page is a poll for you to vote on whther you think Siggy should leave in January.

If Siggy was my mate and asked me "Should I leave Wolves now?" I would have to say yes. Especially if I know he is unhappy, far from home and not getting much of a chance to do what he came here for. Unless Doyle gets injured, that won't change.

But as a supporter, I want him to stay. He's at least as good as the strikers in other L1 teams. Oh, and in case Doyle gets injured!
